Here is one of the 10... They all pretty much came out the same and not bad... Could be better I'm sure, but I'm happy with them.

I had to go to BabysRUs for the 3-6 and they only came in a 4 pack..but they were on sale with the tshirts so of course I had to get them.

Make sure you get the Reduran hand cleaner
This stuff is persistant. Even Acetone won't get it off well.

Made our first shirts yesterday.
A couple of tips I figured out. It's really hard to get in the folds of the small shirts, I banded them to tight. Use Saran wrap, not grocery bags to wrap them. Grocery bag ink will run. I panicked after 7 hours when it looked like the whole bottom (back) of the shirts were solid Blue. Went ahead and pulled them, rinsed and washed them. Just when I was about to go to bed. Here's how they turned out ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I was pleased with how well the heads shaped up. Here's what I did.
Thanks for showing us how to do this. Now to put our transfer in the middle of the head.

I was wondering (Pixiecrafts?) if someone could offer me some color suggestions. I'm looking on the Dharma website and am a bit overwhelmed.
I am looking to make shirts with a "carribean sea" feel, probably 3 colors with shades of blue/turquoise/green... I had good luck making red/white/blue ones in the past, and I'm ready to "branch out"... Does anyone have any favorite colors they want to share? Thx- -Lissa PS no rush, planning for August 2013! |

Love these! How did you get your white so thick around them? I know about the dental floss...is that all you did?

You have all inspired me to try making some shirts. However I can't seem to find waxed dental floss that isn't Mint - can someone tell me where you found it? I have all the big stores around me.

I used mint floss and it was fine. I never did post a picture of us wearing our shirts from November 2011 so here it is. I am getting ready to make some new ones for August soon

Amitrat you're shirts turned out great.
One more question if you don't mind - I finished basting my shirts but when I pull the string it's not quite an even shape. When I put the rubber bands around Mickey's head, how do I kept the ears from running past my stitching? |

And LOTS of rubber bands! I make my wad of bands between 1/2 - 3/4 inches wide. Some will run under, but that has worked well for me. I don't use waxed - Glide brand (or the generic equivalent) works even better for me. That stuff slides right out! |
