Help with SW September Show times please!

So we'll be down in Disney late September again this year. We're going Seaworld for the first time for two days, probably a Sunday and a Friday, late sept. We're trying to plan out our days, but I can't find a Seaworld schedule for September anywhere!

I see that the park hours are 9-6, but is there anywhere that lists the show times?

Also, which are a must do and how early should you be seated?

Thank you in advance!!!

Dan

You wont find show times on the website for September until the End of August. Show times are based on attendance level from the previous month. So nothing for September can be scheduled until August. As far as the must do shows, I would recommend the Dolphin Show "Blue Horizons" the Shamu Show "One Ocean" the Sealion and Otter Show "Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island" and the dog and cat show "Pets Ahoy". Late September isn't really that crowded so I would suggest being seated about 25-30 minutes before the start of the show if you want the best seat.

Thank you KBF!

What I'm really trying to find out is if we will be able to leave the park before 6:00 if we want to see all the good shows, like the ones you mention. Do any of them typically end pretty close to closing?

Generally speaking, during slow seasons, you can do all the shows in 2 days and be done by 2pm. The first show historically, is blue horizons at 10. Then usually an 11 or 11:30 Clyde and Seamore. The first One Ocean show is typically @12. The only one you needed to be early for was the 12 o'clock one ocean. Last year it was a new show and during the slow season only ran 2X a day. The first one filled FAST (like 45 minutes before the show started fast). I wouldn't necessarly think that will be the case next fall, but it is just perspective.

This general schedule has been pretty close to reality for several year but could change at any time. When we arrive we usually feed the sting rays first and then head to blue horizons. After that we play it by ear. If you have small kids the difference between happy harbor before and after the first shamu show is pretty dramatic. Between 10 (when they open) and 12 my family has almost had the area to ourselves. After the shamu show that is REALLY not the case.

The poster above me is correct. You can probably expect 2 Shamu shows on the days you visit. The first being around Noon and the 2nd at 5:30. The Shamu show is always the final show of the day and is always a half hour before the park closes. The Dolphin show "Blue Horizons" is always the first show of the day and should always be at 10:00. The first Sealion show is usually 11:00 and the first Pets Ahoy show is usually 10:45. So based on first shows of the day, you can do the 10:00 Dolphin show, then the 11:00 Sealion show, and then the 12:00 Shamu show. But if you do that, you will be running from one side of the park to the other and missing exhibits in between.

Back in February, I responded to someones post on this site about them also going to the park in September. I responded to their question about show times back in February. In February, there are many days with a 6:00 closing time. And usually show times for a 6:00 close in February are exactly the same show times for a 6:00 closing in September. Here was my response to the poster about show times....

September is typically a slow month. So you shouldn't have a problem doing all that you want to especially since crowd size will be so low. If you want to do it all, the best way to attack the day is to plan around show times. Plan to visit exhibits around the show stadiums. For example, if you want to see the 10:00am Dolphin show, then plan to do exhibits around the dolphin show stadium from 9:00am until 9:45am and then again following the show from 10:30am-11:30am and then move on to the next show stadium.

Each show is between 20-30 minutes long. No more and typically no less. You can start planning now. February is a slow month and is comparable to September. Though the show times for September aren't out yet, they could be compared to show times in February. Here are the current show times which may be similar in September....

Blue Horizons
10:00, 1:30, 3:00

Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island
11:00, 1:45, 4:45

One Ocean
12:00, 5:30

Pets Ahoy
10:45, 1:45, 3:15, 4:45

A'Lure, The Call of the Ocean
1:00, 3:30

I would go with the....
10:00 Blue Horizons Dolphin show
1:45 Clyde And Seamore Take Pirate Island Sealion show
3:15 Pets Ahoy Dog and Cat show
5:30 One Ocean Shamu Show

I don't really recommend A'lure. It's an acrobatics show. I'm really not into that stuff so I typically avoid it. Its a good show though if you choose to see it.
