A2B was the company that was such a nightmare. I will say however that they just gave us a complete refund, so I feel better about them now. They also changed suppliers recently.

The beach at Nice wasn't amazing, but it was nice. It wasn't really beach weather on our cruise so we didn't search a good one out. It wasn't bad though!

I've just spent the last 1/2 hour or so reading your trip report, what a great job you have done with fantastic pictures as well.

We are taking our first ever cruise in August around the Med with Mickey and I'm sooo excited. I love reading reports and looking at pictures of others. We are planning a few DIY trips to Cinquer Terre, Monaco and Pompeii, you make it sound relatively easy and well worth it.

Just saw this TR, and love the pictures!! My goal is to make it on a Med cruise someday (and wouldn't say no to Alaska or Hawaii either

My DH and I are planning for DCL Venice in 2013 and plan to DIY all the ports as well.
