Glad you liked the new Star Tours. That was one I wanted to try but we never got back to HS to do it, we were in WDW for the opening but didn't get to ride.

I just can't do ToT or RnR. I don't like the drop or being upside down. I have done ToT once with my neice and that was enough

Let me add my congrats to Nick for being selected captain!

I love TOT & all of the neat artfacts that are in that queue. It is one of my favorite rides. The Star Tours is so much fun & it's supposed to have 6 different programs. We had two different ones when we rode it in Sept. I can't do Rn'R, it goes upside down & that doesn't work for me.

I haven't done OKW or AKL. I considered AKL, but OKW's rooms sounded more like something I would like. I didn't like the idea of the bunks in the room.

Thanks for pointing that out because I wouldn't have even looked for a gun on a Disney world post card. It would have taken me a while to figure that one out.

Yes - I do one for the year and I put all my ressies in one section, flights in another, rental car in another, ADRs and park plans in another, and I keep copies of all my park passes and such. That way if I ever lose them I'm covered. Oh - I also have a spot for the DVC travelex insurance which I got this year because I am using all 300 points so I want to be covered.

It worked out perfectly, so I highly recommend you keep that plan. If for some reason you get down before them you can always treat yourself to something yummy in the Writer's stop!

Funny screams are find, but I have had the experience of listening to petrified screams on that ride. Seriously - the first time I rode it I was certain the woman in front of me was going to have a full blown panic attack. It was THAT bad!

About AKL and the safaris. The Sunrise Safari which includes breakfast at Animal Kingdom you have to be club level. The sunset/Wanyama Safari is available to all guests at AKL and that one you go on the grounds of the lodge in a truck with two animal keepers and they give you an extensive tour. They were pretty strict the next night when we parked at the contemporary. They checked our name against the list. But I guess they really don't know whether you are going to Beaches n Cream. You could also be going to any point on the Boardwalk and its much easier to park at the BC compared to the BW.

It's good that your little girl is not interested in the other rides yet. That makes it so much better when all you want to ride is TSM.

As I recall you ToT queue pictures were quite good. No matter how you take the pictures, its an awesome place for photography. I just prefer to be a little less rushed.

That's a bummer. It's a great simulator if you like simulators. The quality of the video is great and I love the variable scene changes. Make sure you put it high on your list for your next visit.

Upside down does not bother me nearly as much as being dropped. I never even can tell when I'm upside down because it happens so fast. I think watching a looping coaster is much worse than riding one. Now dropping - that's a different story. I think it "feels" worse than it looks.

Probably a good idea for us to avoid mutual lines. I don't even get upset now. It's a personal joke. I look at the lines and say to myself, "which one looks fastest?" Then I am ALWAYS wrong.

No. There is actually a small stage area at Premiere Center for the Arts. It's small and its loud. It's called the Black Box because all the walls are completely black. When you look at PCA from the street you would think there is no room in there for a stage area, but there is.

Bummer about RnR, but I agree with you that ToT has one of the absolute best queues in Disneyworld. I do think everyone should walk through it at least once even if they aren't going to ride.

Is is 6 different programs or is it severals different sections with 6 different programs each which I guess gives multiple different combinations of the ride? It's a great way to do a simulator.

OKW does have a great room. It's nice and big with two queen beds. AKL doesn't have bunks in all the rooms, does it?

I think that there were a lot of newbies at the world and I think people are less tolerant to picture taking during their first trip. They just want to go, go, go!

So tomorrow is Woodstock! I am signing off now to do a little rehearsing. I am hoping for an update on Sunday night. We have one show tomorrow at 8pm and two shows on Saturday at 3 and 8 pm. It's 20 songs. I only have parts in 3 of them. so its lots of down time. I am trying to decide what to wear which might look a little woodstocky.

Just found my notes for that trip. The Sunrise Safari was $65 each person, from 7am-9am which is about 60 people I would guess. You do have to be club level to go on that one. They take you to Animal Kingdom and you have an early morning ride on Kilamanjaro Safari. They stop every time there is a good photo opportunity which was really nice. Afterwards there was this huge absolutely magnificent buffet breakfast. You have to have park tickets because they leave you in the park after breakfast and you have to get back on your own.

The Sunset/Wanyama Safari was $180 each person from 4pm-7pm or when you're done with dinner. It is a very small group, I think they only allow maximum 12 and there were only 8 of us in ours. Like I said that one is available to all guests at AKL but I think you have to be 8 so no small kids. You tour all the savannahs from Kidani and Jambo House. They show you all the animals and talk about them at great length. They are open to any and all questions you have. At one point one of the giraffes stuck her head in the truck. It took all my self control not to pet her. I think the savannah tour took about an hour and a half. Then you go to Jiko for dinner. It was a huge spread. The unfortunate part is they choose what comes out, but they had three different appetizers and three different entrees and everyone got their own dessert. At each course they had a different wine. I don't want to say it's a once in a lifetime experience because I really want to go again, but it was really really wonderful. The price is up there, but I'd willingly pay that much just for the savannah tour it was so nice to see the animals up close.

Oh, I booked this trip five months in advance and they still had plenty of spots. They do the Sunset Safari every night, we actually had to change ours because my mom got a migraine and there was no problem changing it to the next night which was a Saturday. The Sunrise Safari only goes Thursday and Sunday so there's more demand, but it was no problem getting in. Both are back on our lists to do again.

I hope this weekend goes perfectly
