This exchange is a bit different from the fish extender exchange, but works along the same way as a secret santa exchange.*Each participating stateroom will be matched with another stateroom, and should buy a gift for that cabin with a total cost of no less than $20 but no more than $25 (approx GB£16, Aus$25, Can$25)The gifts can be one per cabin, or individual gifts for each person. You can leave the gift in that cabin's fish extender if they have one, or you can ask their stateroom host to put it in the room. Alternatively you can leave the gift with guest services and ask for it to be delivered to your recipient. You should attach a note to the gift that says its a gift from their secret mickey.

So are we!!. We were hoping to do a B2B on the WBTA but when that didn't look like it was going to be possible, we decided to go for the EB.

I just noticed you are in San Francisco, We are in Vacaville! My DH works in Oakland and I work out of SFO! We are neighbors.
My brother and his family will be booking this cruise tomorrow when it opens up to everyone. They will be coming from Boston.

Bob & I both took early retirements. I use to be at AAA and Bob's last career was as a high school teacher.

Hi,
Last year I did the EBTA only...would have loved to do a back to back but you know work got in the way! lol!

Anyways, I booked a one way ticket from Barcelona to Chicago O'Hare for $600 and then booked a one way on Southwest from Chicago Midway for around a $100 back to North Carolina...the only thing was I had to take the train from O'Hare to Midway which is over an hour and was kind of a pain with luggage...but to save so much money was worth it. The other flights I was looking at was over $1500 for one way.

The other thing that happened was that the volcano in Iceland really messed up my plans so you have to make sure you leave enough time in between...I left 8 hours to get from O'hare to Midway and it was just enough time since my flight was delayed leaving Barcelona...I'm sure that I could have missed my flight on Southwest if it had been any later...

There are some tricks to save money, like DanieD posted, if you break you trip up into segments with different airlines. However, you need to be saving a lot of money to do that because you have allow extra time to get your bags and recheck them and go back through security etc. If you are saving A LOT it can be worth it, otherwise it can be a headache. Another thing to look into is booking a refundable roundtrip ticket starting in Barcelona, then when you get home you cancel the return and get your money back. However, refundable tickets can be pricey, so you just have to play around and see how much you will save. It helps that our trip is early summer because peak travel time in Europe is July and August and that's when airfare will skyrocket.

Well, my SIL and brother are booked with their son, and her parents, my brothers in-laws, are booked also. Now we have to wait and see if my brother can get vacation at that time because it's a vacation "black out" time at his work.
Told my DH about the trip last night...he didn't call me crazy, however I'm sure he would have if I had gone with my first choice and booked the 12 day. I priced out several of the Med cruises yesterday, it would be cheaper for us to do B2B 7 days in two veranda cabins than it would to do one 12 day in two inside cabins.

Welcome. We looked at doing B2B 7 days too and decided on doing the TA with it instead because of the price. I really wanted go to Venice but couldn't justify the cost. Disney really prices their new itinerary cruises much higher then other cruiselines. But they get it so you can't blame them.
