Wooooo Hooooo .... I turn my back on the internet for an evening and what happens ... Claire sets up a DIS cruise thread

That will teach me to go AWOL

I suppose we are possibles for this cruise, but our big dream is to do a Med cruise out of Venice ... at the moment I am thinking "DO BOTH!!" Really, though .. with so many wonderful people on board how will I be able to resist this one

Hi Pat, he is fine now, they removed the lumps and managed to take everything away thankfully. His hair still hasn;t grown back fully so we are still calling him "patchworth" as you can see all his scars & he looks like a patchwork quilt.

For all you folks that got guaranteed cabins last time, were you happy with the cabin you got?

We were an inside on Deck 6 last time, and loved it! However I remember that a guaranteed Oceanview was actually running for a little bit less than what we paid for the inside. Our TA couldn't get it changed for some reason, so before we sign on again, I'm just checking our options. A little extra space is always a plus when you've got 4 in a cabin!

So, your thoughts on the guaranteed cabins?

We booked a oceanview and transfered it to a restricted guaranteed verrandah (VGT) for less. We booked it by DCL and had to phone for the transfer, but it was no problem. We ended on deck 6 aft and where very pleased with it.
For the Hawai we have a guaranteed inside (11B). This time we booked by Lynne.
I don't know what we do for the TA. I think that we book on the Hawai cruise and see then, or transfer it on that cruise. I depend on the fares what we gonna book. But we book on board this time that's for sure.
We don't mind to not know the exact roomnumber till late.

We are a "maybe". Curt is in a seniority-based position at the airline, so he bids his schedule in June and then bids vacation in August for all of 2013. Needless to say, when it comes out we will probably book, then see if all the stars line up just right.

Kiddos as well, of course

What's that saying... "Book vacation first, then ask forgiveness later" ??
