I DID see the new ticker before I saw you post WHAOOOO those pin codes really do inspire some spur of the moment decisions, don't they? LOVE THEM!

and I am jealous that your fridge has room for pictures. mine is full of magnets, appointments and school work that is due before Christmas

Oh, I hope you are still planning on going. I do not see your ticker right now. Am I missing it? I hope your dates are over 4th of July. We have booked our trip and will be in WDW from July 3rd to July 9th. We are going to Vero first for six nights and then heading to WDW. We are staying at the Beach Club.
Can't wait to hear about your plans.

Hi, Sheree. Thanks for sharing my ticker excitement. I think we will be sticking with this resort since we got such a great deal on it. Now that could change if Disney releases better deals, but I am not sure I see that happening since it is over the Fourth.

My ticker seems to disappear at odd times. We are still going so I am super excited that our dates match up completely -- July 3 through the 8th for us!

As you know, my original plans were to rent points and stay someplace ritzy like AKL or Boardwalk. I wasn't even going to do anything about booking until January -- I needed to get through the holidays.

However, Disney can be sneaky, sneaky, sneaky.

I had been on the Disney site pricing out hotel rooms just for comparison purposes, and then, a few days later Disney sent me an email that read in part...

"GAME ON!

Thanks for your interest in a Walt Disney World® Resort visit. Now it’s our move.

We just wanted to make sure you and your family have everything you need to plan your next Walt Disney World® Resort visit! And since you’re thinking about coming in July, the offer to the right would be a great way to get the most magic out of your stay."

Well, that offer to the right was quite a deal -- moderate rooms at $140 a night for the entire month of July including the Fourth of July.

I was going to call and price things out, but then I noticed that you could book online.

Tricky Disney.

Let's just say it is hard to argue with a price on a room that is less than renting points.

And we didn't want the room we wanted to disappear.

So we are booked July 3 -- July 8 at...

Port Orleans Riverside.

We haven't stayed there since December 2004, and we love the new refurbed rooms.

Well played, Disney. Well played!
