HELP!!!!!! More Disney Dreams to fulfill! 09/04 Exciting news!
We are so excited to announce that we have two more trips to plan, then change plans and change them some more.
AND we would be delighted to have you along for the planning AND the trips!  So ....... who is WE??  There is Tom, my dear brother and travelling partner, who is game for everything and anything Disney, especially spending time in Disney parks and on Disney ships. In real life he works for the Austrian post office and is a self taught computer whizz! Nothing he can't fix and he doesn't know.  And then there is me, Karin, who plans all those Disney extravaganzas and I am known for changing my mind over and over again when it comes to resort or restaurant choices. By day I teach in a small school in a little village about 20 miles from where we live and by night I try to figure out ways to go to Disney on a sweet little discount or two.  Before we left on this year's summer holiday we were certain there was NO way we could go back to Disney in February and even next summer would require staying in less expensive accommodations. While we were on vacation we rebooked for 2012 using Disney's future stay promotion of Free Dining. We were super happy with it and even rebooked some cruises for next year, which we thought we would be able to afford, due to an inheritance that was pending. And low and behold on our very last day at Walt Disney World we went to a DVC presentation and decided to join. Well, in the meantime the inheritance turned out to be more than expected and what better place to spend some of it, than Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line. So, here is our lineup for 2012. February 18 - 25 Flights are booked  and accommodation too! 2/18 POR Royal Guest Room River View 2/19 - 23 Disney Dream, 4 night Bahamian cruise   2/23 - 25 Bay Lake Tower, Lake View, first time staying on points   Apart from the obvious, no plans are made and I guess I need to get started on that real soon as we are only 20 weeks out!  August/September 2012 NO flights booked yet - still waiting for a decent rate to show up. We will fly to Miami and spend some time in the Florida Keys to start off the trip before we will move on to Walt Disney World and the Disney DREAM. 8/11 - fly in and stay at the Best Western Atlantic Beach resort (not booked yet)  8/12 - spend the night in Key Largo at the Marina del Mar resort (not booked yet) 8/13 - 16 - spend a few days at Key West and stay at the Southernmost on the beach (not booked yet)   8/16 - again, spend the night at Key Largo, Marina del Mar resort (not booked yet) 8/17 -19 - spend some of that inheritance money by staying at the Contemporary Resort, Atrium Club Level, Magic Kingdom View - we always wanted to do that, just never had the money, so this is going to be extra sweet and I am not even sure if I will ever leave the room during those two days!    8/19 - 24 - stay at OKW in a 1 bedroom villa. Yes, I gave in again and booked with the British Disney Travel Company which offers and amazingly low rate for OKW, a 7 day ticket for the price of a 5 day ticket, Free Dining AND a $150 gift card. It doesn't get any better than that, so we ARE booked!!  8/24 - 29 - double dip on the Disney DREAM  8/29 - 9/2 - 4 night Bahamian cruise on the Disney DREAM 9/2 - 8 - hoping to stay in a one bedroom villa in one of the vacation club homes. No idea WHERE yet, but I am sure we will find something! So, do you feel like joining in planning our next vacations?   SO EXCITED! You know, to some extent it is self-intrest on my part, but I'm so excited and happy for you! What good things you have ahead of you! I can't wait to see you guys again and we'll sort of be neighbors once again, at least for one night! I'm also happy to have a trip countdown buddy for the next twenty weeks  ...when you put it that way it seems like its just around the corner!
