"SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP! It Builds Character and Strength!" A July 2011 TR-COMPLETE 4/5
 Calling all Frumps, Fanatics, Fans and Foodies!!!! Well hello there!  Thanks for stoppin' by! Welcome to my very first trip report! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll learn about life. It's a beautiful thing, really. So hold onto your hats and glasses, 'cause you've just crossed over into:"SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP! It Builds Character and Strength!" A July 2011 TR! Before we get started, though, there are a few things you should know about the folks who accompanied me on this Journey of Joyous Jubilance:
First off, me! Kristen  Hi! I'm Kristen. I am 16 years old and OBSESSED with Disney. I have been going since I was 6, and I've always appreciated the little things and the magic that brings everyone closer together at the Happiest Place on Earth.  I am also crazy about the frumpy things in Disney, like the monorail, school bread, Muppet Vision 3-D and Figment. You may remember me from Jess' (Disneyfreak508) trip report from January. The Port Report: Frumpin' Around the World with the Bathrobe Princesses  Anyway, I love Disney more than most people I know, and I always go crazy with excitement while I'm there! I can't wait to do the College Program someday, become a Disney Vacation Club member, and have a Disney lovin' husband and kids. Favorite theme park: Magic Kingdom Favorite ride: Splash Mountain, The Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight and the Jungle Cruise Favorite Magic Kingdom land: Main Street U.S.A. Favorite World Showcase country: the U.K. Favorite show: Illuminations: Reflections of Earth and Festival of the Lion King Favorite character: Ariel, Aladdin, Peter Pan and Mary Poppins Favorite table-service restaurant: Garden Grill, Via Napoli, Chef Mickey's and California Grill Favorite counter-service restaurant: Pizzafari Favorite snack: SCHOOL BREAD (  ) and the Red Velvet Cheesecake CupcakeFavorite movie: The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Winnie the Pooh Favorite park music: Adventureland Area music and Illuminations: Reflections of Earth Favorite film music: Never Had a Friend Like Me, I Just Can't Wait to be King, You Can Fly, and Poor Unfortunate Souls Favorite  ArielNext up, Mike! Mike  Mike is my brother. He's 18 years old and took his first trip to the World when he was 8. He loves the thrill rides, but he also loves the classic and unique Disney experiences, like One Man's Dream and The Magic of Disney Animation. He is studying to be an architect at the University at Buffalo, and is one of the smartest and most genuine people I know. He really tells it like it is, and has a surprising but fantastic sense of humor. His alternate plan in life is to be a Disney animator, because he is a brilliant artist. He loves to create his own characters and give them a backstory. This was his first trip back to Disney World since 2008, so he was excited to see what had changed and what he remembered. Favorite theme park: Disney's Hollywood Studios Favorite ride: Toy Story Mania, Pirates of the Caribbean, Soarin', and Space Mountain Favorite Magic Kingdom land: Adventureland Favorite World Showcase country: Italy Favorite show: It's Tough to be a Bug (  )Favorite character: Goofy and Donald Duck Favorite table-service restaurant: Teppan Edo Favorite counter-service restaurant: The Three Broomsticks (I know, I know) Favorite snack: croissant from Boulangerie Patisserie Favorite movie: Pirates of the Caribbean Favorite park music: Soarin' Favorite film music: He's a Pirate Favorite Snow WhiteAnd lastly, Dave. Dave  Dave is my Dad, but we call him Dave. Not generally to his face, but we just like it better. Haha. Dave is a Colonel in the Air Force and is also a Pediatrician. He and my mom got divorced when my brother and I were younger, so moving around is generally pretty easy for him to do. No worrying about pulling us out of school or taking us away from our friends, because we live with our Mom. He currently lives in Santa Maria, California, but is moving to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks. He has done his best to keep in touch with us over the years, and comes to visit from time to time. He always takes us somewhere on vacation each summer, usually to Walt Disney World or Disneyland. He loves everything about it and is a child at heart. Favorite theme park: Magic Kingdom Favorite ride: Toy Story Mania and Space Mountain Favorite Magic Kingdom land: Liberty Square Favorite World Showcase country: France and the American Adventure Favorite show: Fantasmic! Favorite character: Tigger, the Genie, and Sulley Favorite table-service restaurant: Teppan Edo Favorite counter-service restaurant: Casey's Corner Favorite snack: Chocolate Caramel Fudge from Karamell Kuche Favorite movie: Winnie the Pooh, Toy Story 1 and 2, and Aladdin Favorite park music: Soarin' Favorite film music: Winnie the Pooh Favorite BelleSorry about the lengthy favorites list, but I had so many questions! Now for some other trip info, otherwise known as the 5 W's of Disney: Who? Well, I've just told you that. DUH. What? A trip to Disney World with the 4-day Military Discount Park Hoppers and the Disney Dining Plan! Where? Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort When? July 25th-31st, 2011 Why? Because we can!  EDIT: DANG!!!! Allie beat me!! That's okay ahhh I am SO excited for this trip report to begin I can't even stand it! I'm so excited to see all of the pictures and hear about everything you did!
