We have ADR at Coral Reef, Crystal Palace, Hollywood and Vine and Whispering Canyon, all of which are listed as regrets in this thread. Oh well, maybe we'll be the ones who turn out to have a great experience there.

I do not regret eating at any restaurants, but there are some I wouldn't try again. And, remember, if someone didn't like it, it doesn't mean you won't. We loved Crystal Palace for dinner for example, but it was listed here numerous times.
Our least favourites: 50's Prime Time Cafe - worst food of the whole trip last year, but we ate here in 2008 and the food was much better so it really depends I guess Les Chefs de France - it wasn't the best food ABC Commissary - I would never eat here again

My least favorite was definitely Crystal Palace...if it weren't for the characters, we'd NEVER go back. My oldest son even commented on how much they've gone downhill and that he doesn't ever want to go back.

We are really easy to please so the list is short and really I would probably give it another chance at some point. Right now we have many more to try so it won't be soon, lol.
Our list of "not again right now" : Wolfgang Cafe: every dish tasted of alcohol to us. We drink so it wasn't that we don't like alcohol but we didn't expect everything to tast like it had been soaked in it. Everything we ordered was huge, as in I ordered chicken and received a whole small chicken! Crazy. I felt they were overcompensating with size to make up for not great flavors. Chef Mickey: Dirty (food all over the floor at a 6pm seating), buffet was a mess and I wasn't impressed with the food. When I don't even enjoy the mashed potatoes there is a problem for us. Yachtsman Steakhouse: not so much the food (the apps were fantastic) but we were there for two hours and that's all we had! We asked for our steaks medium well and after two and a half hours they finally arrived bleeding all over the plates. Never got to taste the steak so no idea how it tasted. We were not charged and went on our way ![]() Crystal Palace dinner: Love breakfast here and an early one is a must do for us but dinner was pretty much blah. Our waitress was fantastic tho so I give them props for that. |

our only "yuck"
Tutti was extremely disappointing to us. I had read many great reviews, but out experience was not good at all. The food was obviously pre made and heated up, as we were served less than 10 minutes after ordering. Neither of the entrees that we ordered tasted fresh, nor was it tasty. Honestly, it tasted more like cafeteria food than anything else.

The only place that was really terrible was Tokyo Dining. The food was just so salty we couldn't eat it. I'm used to saltiness in Asian food but this was like gargling with salt water.

The only restaurant we were really disappointed with on our last trip was YSH. I didn't enjoy the shrimp and crab chowder, I found the sherry taste too strong. But DD6 loved it
My steak was way over cooked but DH loved his. DD loved her mickey puzzle. But the biggest disappointment was the service. Our waiter disappeared for long periods of times, never asked us how things were. Even though the restaurant was almost empty, we had a 5:30pm ADR. Then the waiter took our dessert order and we never saw him again for 30 minutes then he stopped by to apologize, he said he forgot to put our dessert order in. I wanted to leave without dessert but DD6 really wanted that mickey puzzle We will not be returning anytime soon

We were underwhelmed with the Coral Reef. We were seated nearly an hour past our reservation, and the food was nothing to write home about. The service was rushed to say the least. For example, the server took our drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert order at the same time. Each course arrived before the last was complete and it really made us feel like we were being hurried along to turn the table over (felt the same way at Cinderella's castle, but at least we enjoyed the food).
I was really looking forward to the chocolate wave I had read so much about and didn't end up finishing it because it really wasn't that good. So, while I don't regret trying it because it was different for us, I won't go back. |

I hate to say it, but Coral Reef. I remember loving my meal there 11 years ago. Went back last summer and was underwhelmed. Went back a few days ago and felt that the food was worse than Applebee's. I regret giving it another chance after the previous unsatisfactory meal, and I won't be going back.
