14-night Eastbound Transatlantic Cruise (May 14-28, 2011) Lots of pics! COMPLETED 9/8
Hello all! Here’s a trip report with lots of pictures from my recent 14-night Transatlantic Cruise on the Disney Magic (May 14th-28th, 2011). It truly was a trip of a lifetime and I didn’t want it to end! Never once did I feel like the cruise was too long. I will say off the bat, however, that on more than one occasion I felt like this cruise was an ugly stepchild of the Mediterranean cruises. There was MUCH more Med merchandise than Transatlantic merchandise, and they had a deck party for us that was obviously geared toward the Med cruises. (I have a feeling they were using us for a “dress rehearsal.”) Also, there was a bit of miscommunication in the beginning concerning dinner times and our character breakfast (wrong information on the dining tickets in our stateroom when we arrived). More about all that later. We did receive a couple of nice gifts for being on this cruise, though! Bear with me...this trip report will definitely take A LOT of time to write, especially since I have A LOT of pictures to share and it takes A LOT of time to upload all of them! I took 2500 pictures to give you an idea! Anyway, here we go!
