What restaurants do you regret eating at?
And why?
for us Hollywood and Vine (nuff said) Also, while I loooove POP's food court, I had the nastiest Mediterranean flatbread thing there. I ended up throwing it out. It was all greek olives and no chicken. Blech. Last edited by KatieCollette; 10-03-2011 at 12:22 PM. |

Coral Reef Restaurant: We were seated in a table furthest away from the aquarium in some ridiculous booth setup where you share a split table with strangers. Everyone was uncomfortable, the food was not good, the restaurant was noisy, and it seemed like it was our servers first night (he was flustered and had trouble getting orders and remembering things like drink refills).
It wasn't all bad, the dessert there was good. |

DISclaimer: this is just my opinion..
Crystal Palace, food was yucky, characters didn't interact much, server was very slow at one point I think he forgot us.

Coral Reef, by far. Don't let the ambience fool you, the food was terrible. With the exception of the lobster bisque, its awesome - but I think its the same bisque they serve all over the world.

LTT before MVMCP a few years ago. The food was not good (putting it nicely), character interaction was bad and it took away time from the party.

Oh goodness, this is going to be like watching a train wreck happen, you can't help but watch!
What if one of the restaurants I booked ADR's shows up, do I switch? So I will just have to stand by & hope none of the restaurants I have chosen from our upcomning trip shows up. ![]() I think my memory blanks out the bad meals so I have nothing helpful to contribute!

The Wave. Way overpriced for sub par food that tasted canned/microwaved.
It was our night out - kids were at Neverland Club. Very disappointing!! |

Marakesh in Morroco. Just wasn't what we thought. It could have just been what we ordered, but the food was bland, mine looked green,
and we were seated next to the door, far from the dancer. However the service was fast and friendly, and the desert was good. My DD liked the lemon chicken, but that was it.CS mommy... is this on your list? |

Yakitori House (counter-service) in Japan Pavillion in Epcot. My wife and I wanted to eat something different so we tried here. I have had much better food at Mall food courts. Small portions and not very tasty. I take coumadin and I am unable to eat broccoli so I asked for a little extra rice instead. She said "no Substitutions" but they were more than happy to leave the veggies off my plate. We also ranked Coral Reef low. The food wasn't bad just extremely average. The only bright spot was that I asked for a "window-seat" and got it. My 3 year old daughter enjoyed watching the fishies.

Nine Dragons - The food was not bad, but the portions were small and we thought it was really overpriced for what you get.
Marrakesh - The meat was really chewy and everything was bland. Columbia Harbour House - We read a lot of good reviews, but weren't impressed. Those are the only places I can think of that we probably won't return.

Chef Mickey's. I know alot of people love it. We went for Dinner when DD (5) was 3. We were there early in the service and the place was filthy. We are not really picky about that, and it was to the point where DH looked at me as were were walking to our table and whispered "Are we really going to EAT here?" The food was terrible except for the salads and desserts which were good except for the soft serve ice cream which was like soup. I watched a kid drop the tongs in the chicken on the floor and put them back in the chicken and when his horrified mother told the CM, she didn't even switch out the tongs much less any of the chicken. DH's Mom got sick a few hours after eating there, and she is positive it was food poisoning. Although the characters are cute, it was so BAD that DD has not even asked to go back in our 2 trips since then.

I will agree with Coral Reef, however. We have eaten there several times and the first couple were great, but the last two were not! Service was horrible. We don't have an objection to the food there or the ambiance. Also, we didn't care for Yak and Yeti. We ate there just after the TS opened up and did not like the food. Not saying it wasn't prepared correctly, but just didn't care for the taste. The service and ambiance were both terrific though. |

We've done all of these at least once, except for Cali grill, Kona-- (just coffee), and Les Chefs....... I would go back to all of the others. Whispering Canyon is fun. My DH loves crystal palace, and Teppan Edo was a kid favorite. I wish I had a trip planned, you have some great choices. |
