Shamey, shame, shame on all of you! You can't skip the corny, dated or annoying! You have to take the good with the bad, the peas with the carrots, the Stitch with the Buzz! You'd miss out on all the fine people watching- the commaraderie (sp) of being trapped in an enclosed space with 4000 of your closest friends! You have to earn that skool bread and ride with Gary Sinise.
I'm being silly of course, but what i mean is- sometimes the silly, dated, corny rides are the best memories- my husband and I have more fun doing our 'come on me haven't been on this one in 4 trips, you have to do it' rides.
Just go with what looks interesting to you- if you miss one, it's just an excuse to plan another trip- it will be waiting for you!

We ride it as much as we can, on our Jan trip they let us ride it three times without getting off (we got there at rope drop) and we could have continued but we were getting dizzy
We love Primevil Whirl too. We always do it at least twice, although I can see how it could lead to a neck injury! I skip Kali because IMHO you get too wet to justify that short little anticlimatic ride!

These are the ones I'd skip.

Magic Kingdom

Astro Orbitor (don't like fast spinning tipping feeling)
Stitch (too many horrible reviews)
Tomorrowland Speedway (just boring and not worth the wait)
Carosel of Progress (DH hates this one, nostaligic for some, but pretty dated)
Hall of Presidents (several family members say it is boring)
Tom Sawyer Island (OK once with kids)
Country Bear Jamboree (maybe once with small kids)
Tiki Birds (well I might go just to see if it is any better since it closed)

Inovations (DH likes but I always feel like there are so many more and much better things to see at Epcot, I'm always anxious to leave)
Turtle Talk with Crush (great once with small kids)
Lion King film in Land Pavillion (borrrrrrring)
Captain EO (loud and not appealing to me)
Mission Space (I'm more than a little scared to do this ride)

Animal Kingdom

Flights of Wonder (very similar to zoo show at home)

Hollywood Studios

haven't had a chance to try the smaller attractions yet, love ALL the headliners!

Primeval Whirl in AK - I do not have a weak stomach and can ride most any ride in DW, but this about made me hurl. It's also not really all that unique - you could ride something similar at a carnival.

Stitch's Great Escape - we usually skip this; if you've seen it once, there's really not any reason to go again in our opinion.

The people-mover ride in MK (I can't remember the name, but we typically do not ride this.)

We have been on all the rides several times, and the ones we now skip/don't feel the need to ride again are:
Laugh Floor Comedy
Astro Orbiter (might consider if the line was short)
Flights of Wonder ( we liked it, just not into it again)
The Show in the Land Pavilion, upper level

That's it!

You gotta be original because if you're like someone else, what do they need you for?

AK - Dinosaur & Prim. Whirl

EP - Three Callebro's & Livin with the land

DHS - Light's/Action Stunt Show thing & Journey to Narnia

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World has a touring plan designed by the author for each park. It contains just the attractions the author thinks are the best that Disney has to offer. Even if you don't follow the tour (though I recommend it) the lists should give you an idea of which attractions might be worth experiencing.
