Should I be concerned/alarmed? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I contacted the timeshare store via email to enquire about selling my dvc ownership. Decided on Monday to go ahead, and filled in the forms, however I did notice that it was not a secure link. I still carried on as thought it was via email.

Anyhow got email yesterday to say forms were spot on and they we're contacting Disney to get the relevant info. I was informed that it could take 24-72 hours for this and then they would list it on the site to sell.

I have just received a phone call to say that it has been sold

not even been listed yet I even checked this afternoon!

I now have a gut feeling not sure why!!!

Anyone heard or had personal dealings with this

I don't know it works but could they have a list of people who want to buy and yours matched someones request?

I have just been on there site again and re checked the list, it's now on there

The TimeShare Store (and most of the others too) have a feature where you can sign up to an email alert. For people looking for 'hot' prices/small contract/popular resorts/popular Use Years etc, they'll get a heads up about contracts coming available before it hits the site.

Congrats at the quick offer though likewise, commiserations at having to sell in the first place, boo!

Well it's making progress.

Has gone to Disney for FROR.

Escrow been in touch.

No longer on listing so
