Get the most Tron for the cheapest price

So this is for you guys/girls going out today and getting Tron Legacy and hopefully Tron Classic. Anyway, this is the best bet, atleast in my opinion. SKIP the collectors edition. I'm a huge tron fan and I had to skip it the identity disc felt really cheap and the lights didnt stay on, you had to hold the button down. If your local store has it, check it out, yes is comes with both Trons but there are many reasons not to get it, check out IGN's unboxing. Plus its $60 even with the $5 Disney rewards coupon.

So this is what I ended up getting today, I personally think its the best bang for your buck. GO TO TARGET! Now if you haven't seen the Target ad, they have a deal that if you buy Tron legacy (dvd or bluray) and Tron classic on bluray you get $8 off your purchase (Yes this means you can't use your disney coupon, but hey you are saving more money this way if you were getting both anyway). So let me break down some prices for you, Tron and Tron Legacy 2disc blu ray are $19.99 each, so this combo gets your 4 disc for $32. OR Tron legacy 3D 4 disc is $24.99 + Tron Bluray 2disc $19.99 = 6 discs for $36.98. Yes when i did my math both times its pretax and after the $8 discount. Now I dont own a 3d TV, but i picked up the 4disc 3d anyway cause it comes with a digital copy ($6 on disney to buy btw) and I love my digital copies.

So my opinion to all your tron fans out there. If you are going to get both, you really should think bout the 4 disc 3d legacy (comes with 3d Bluray, 2d bluray, dvd, and digital copy) + Tron 2disc (bluray and dvd) for less then $40. Even if you are like me and dont have a the 3d TV/player I think for the money buying the 3D one if the best deal.

Hope this helps you some today on your Tron Purchase. Now Enter the Grid.

Additional Bonus: I dunno if it works or not but a few people said you can use the $5 coupon + $5 discount at Bestbuy, I didn't try, so I dont know for sure or if it it like alot of things depends on who is at the register.

Another additional bonus: People are not reported that the bunny money and DMR coupon at target will stack with the $8 offer even though targets ad says it wont.

For anyone wondering, the $5 off coupon that Disney sent you is a manufacturers coupon. Meaning that the store adds up all of the money that they discounted using those and Disney will match that with something. The store HAS to allow any manufacturers coupon and their own store coupon in the same transaction. Good Luck! and Happy Buying!

I ordered the 5-Disc collector's edition off Amazon for 49.99 plus free shipping. It has both the original and Legacy, plus the digital copy. It comes in the normal Blu-Ray packaging. I totally agree with you about the cheapness of the higher end collector's edition. Plus, I have the Monster x TRON Identity Disc iPod dock, which looks stunningly like an actual identity disc. Would have been stupid to have a cheaper identity disc on top of this lol

I got the $19.99 Tron and the $19.99 Tron Legacy, ($39.98) Minus $8 ($31.98) minus the $5 off coupon ($26.98 plus tax)
