Wow! The food at Palo looks fantastic! I am totally craving pizza and chocolate souffle now! Sorry the waiter sucked. I can't believe he would be talking about you guys so close. Very un-disney!
The AD looks like lots of fun too! What a gorgeous ship! I am so happy that you got to go on it! I love the pictures from early in the morning, when no one was a round. It looks so calm and peaceful and inviting!

Merchandise Part 1
They did a pretty good job with the shops on this ship. I chatted with the CM's there and they told me some horror stories from the Maiden Voyage in regards to people going crazy with the MV merchandise. I guess there were some who just came in the store and just grabbed handfuls of things! She was careful in what she said but I could tell that she was really happy that that cruise was over! She said people were lined up from 2pm for the store's opening at 6pm! ![]() I have a story to share about my own experience of when the shops first opened on embarkation day but it will have to wait until after Saturday afternoon (for personal reasons) to share it with you, ![]() They also had another smaller store on deck 11 near the midship elevator, called Whozits and Whatzits as well as 2 cute little cart-type shops near the Mickey Pool, called Quacks, that opened up during busy pool times. They sold things like sunscreen, goggles, etc. They were just these little round things ( I had no idea what they were until I saw them opened up on the last day!) most times I passed by ![]() I must say though that I was rather disappointed in the Dream merchandise they had. I was able to find a couple shirts I liked but they didn't have much variety, and if you didn't buy on the first night, all they had left were those sizes nobody wants! They never restocked during the cruise (at least not that I saw and I checked every day! ) and I heard a lot of unhappy people! They brought out some (ugly) Maiden Voyage t-shirts on the 2nd day but I think most people agreed with my opinion because they were all still there on the last night ![]() Except for that one store with the Dream stuff, you could pretty much find most of the other merchandise on the Magic/Wonder. They had a lot of higher end stuff like Dooney & Burke bags, jewelry, etc., in one shop and a very small variety of sundries in the shop next to it. Ok, here's the pics... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ]

Well if they are a design feature, then I think Disney made a bad choice on them... :/

Kids Club Part 1
I can't even begin to tell you how cool the Club and Lab were!! It was our first stop after getting on the ship because I knew it would be the only time I could get photos of it without 6 billion people in them. Plus once there are kids in the clubs, you cannot take photos of them so it was a must I love that the club is made up all these little themed rooms because kids (at least my kid) can get bored of things real fast but this way they can move from room to room and have new experiences in each one! Would you believe that the kids club got FOUR complaints from the Maiden Voyage....all for having TOO much to do ![]() Here's some pics...sorry they are a little out of order! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It's a Small World Nursery Part 1
OK, I'm getting a little cheesed cus I can't find some pics I took! ![]() I can't find the ones I took from the outside of the nursery and the ones from the inside entrance way ![]() They did a great job on the nursery! I'm glad they planned this one out unlike the one on the Magic that used to be food storage before being refurbished into the much-needed Flounder's Nursery! Here's some pics... This is a tour starting from the furthest room away...with the cribs to the entrance area with the desk and boat. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More in the next post...
