We're doing a 7 day on the Fantasy next year. Our first cruise was a 3 day Wonder back in '04. We swore we'd never do anything smaller than a 7 day after that. Did a 7 Day EC in '06 and then the 15 day EB Repo in '08.

Wow
Thank you so much for taking the time to put up all these great pics. While some people are complaining about the smallest things that went wrong you have provided so much for our family to look forward to. Food looks great and so many choices! I like that fact that you went out early and the place was empty and you could sit anywhere. Like anywhere else if you go to eat when the rest of the world arrives then there will be lines and shortage of seats. Thank you again! |

Wow Cass, I didn't realize you had gone through such an ordeal in May. I'm so glad that you came through that and that Rob and Kira have you safe and sound~! Yikes! How terribly scarey!
We never ate at the buffet on the Magic or Wonder. The kids preferred to grab chicken strips or pizza at lunch and since they were all teenagers, breakfast was normally slept through. I can't wait to see your pirate buffet pictures... that last cruise (KKers) we had several seasick people in our party... those were some high seas that night.

You seriously ROCK!!!!
Whoa...those last shots of the Cabanas breakfast totally got me out of 'lurkdom'.
I LOVE breakfast and what an amazing spread they have. Those Ham/Cheese Croissants have my name on them among other things. My DD (age 13) and I are sailing on the 2/20 Dream and your report is THE BOMB! We'll both feel like we know what to expect and will be able to take full advantage of the ship because we have studied your fabulous report. Love the details!! Sounds like you totally deserved this trip. Thank you Cass!! Liz |

Pirate Night Buffet in Cabanas
I didn't eat any of this food...we had just finished dinner just an hour or so before but I took pics of course ![]() This was the only time I saw the buffet really busy...they only had the one side open and there were tons of people! I didn't get pics of the Made-to-order Crepes because there was a big line up and I just couldn't squeeze in ![]() It was as if people hadn't eaten in a few hours ![]() I will say that if I wasn't still full from Palo, I would have maybe tried a baked potato ![]() Oh...just remembered something that made me laugh while I was taking photos....there was this lady standing at the make-your-own-taco area and she put a taco shell on her place and proceeded to hand it to one of the CM's behind the buffet. He was so puzzled, you should have seen the look on his face when she proceeded to tell him what she would like on her taco!! His english wasn't at all great but he tried to explain to her that SHE had to make her own taco. Well, this lady rolled her eyes and grumbled something about having to make her OWN taco! SHEESH!!![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() OK, I am finally done with Cabanas ![]() Next up....Flo's Cafe |

EWWW! I don't think I would WANT someone to make my Taco. That was weird on her part.
![]() I don't think this buffet looks as impressive. It would need much more chocolate for me to eat after just eating.

Flo's Cafe Part 1
This the fast food area of the ship, just like Plutos/Pinocchio's/Goofy's Galley on the Magic. I spent a lot of time here ![]() I ate lunch there every single day and I sometimes wish I had more days to enjoy more lunches here LOL! I really don't like the whole wheat buns and I am still waiting for Disney to get rid of those....but I am SUPER DUPER mad that they got rid of the Ken's honey dijon dipping sauce ![]() That was the best part of eating chicken strips on the ship!!!!!!!!!!! The other dips they had there were thoroughly disgusting!! ![]() I still managed to tolerate a few strips and maybe a burger and a hot dog too! ![]() ![]() ![]() The burger was actually really really tasty and the chicken strips were some of the best I have ever had! I was really worried about all those food places being right together like that but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Yes, if you go at peak times, there will be a line but they were good about helping the next person as fast as possible. Often, if the wait was long, it was mostly because of the guests...either not knowing what they wanted or changing their minds or just being slow in general. I did notice the pizza place was closed most times I wanted to try it out and I had to make a point to go down when I knew it would be open just to try even though I wasn't all that hungry. I wasn't thrilled with the pizza but then again, I don't really like Disney pizza...never have. So if you like the pizza on the old ships, then I think you will like this too. ![]() The tables were practically all full every time I went, usually I had to wander a bit to get an open table. The big thing here was that it was a pain to go all the way down past the Mickey Pool to get drinks. Because it was just me, it wasn't a big deal...I would just go get a drink first and then get in line for some food then grab a table but I can see that it would be a problem if I had Kira with me and I had to carry two plates and two drinks. I think DCL might get a few complaints about this one! OK, here's some pics of the area... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
