Hi everyone!! I hope everyone had a gloriously spooky Halloween! It was a fuuun weekend! What did you/your kids dress up as? I was planning a spectacular Marilyn Monroe costume to wear to MNSSHP, but when we ended up not going to WDW I changed my mind and just decided to be a glamorous version of Minnie Mouse. Well, she's glam on her own so let me just say MORE glam!

The reason I haven't been updating is that I got a new laptop about a week ago and all my pics and TR notes are on my old computer, which I need a new mouse for b/c the old one just gave up. I'm just so busy but the updates will be coming regularly again soon!

In my head, I've been planning out my 21st birthday celebration at Disney for years. I wear a tiara everywhere. I have a delicious birthday dinner at 'Ohana. My first purchased drink is a Lapu Lapu. We watch the fireworks from the beach, and all is right in the world. Unfortunately, all of those dreams were smashed to smithereens this month when I decided that I need to take classes this summer so that I can graduate before we switch to semesters in the fall of 2012. So yeah, no birthday celebration for me.

Actually, I don't even know if I'm going to be able to go to Disney at all this year which is making me really depressed. I have a couple weeks at the beginning of June and the beginning of September, but they aren't great travel times for the rest of my family. *SIGH* I need to find friends who are obsessed with Disney as I am and whose available travel dates overlap with mine because I do not like this whole "I don't know when I'm going back!" thing. LOL.
It's weird, I never really thought of my 21st at Disney SPECIFICALLY. Ideally, all my birthdays would be at WDW though so ya know. Why does school have to get in the way of your dream WDW trip?! Just... stop going. Or something.

I promise, one day you and I are going to be at Disney the same time! It just has to happen! The universe can't just bring us together on the DIS and have us be sooo alike and then have us NOT meet at the place responsible for our friendship in the first place. It will happen!!!

Glad you had a good weekend! I dressed up as a cat and went to the Halloween parade with my sister and friends. It was fun even though it was freezing cold out. It's even colder today, I am really not enjoying this weather

That's awesome! I forgot you are in NYC so I thought you were referring to a different parade and I was gonna tell you about the parade in the village, LOL. That parade is insane...so much fun and so many many creative, thought out costumes. That's one of those things that is just classic NYC to me.

And oh God, it got cold so suddenly! I went to my little cousin's game tonight (she is a cheerleader) and it was fuh-reezing!!! In the middle of it we went across the street to warm up in the library and I ended up buying some books. I swear if there is a sale anywhere I just end up there. LOL.

You have no idea how badly I wish I could just stop going to school. I'll just become, like, a professional homeless person or something. But then I couldn't afford to go to Disney, so I guess I need school. Darn. I'm just so over school. Like, I obviously enjoy the social aspect, but I'm so sick of classes. I just want to graduate and get a real job. But unfortunately I still have a little under 2 years left. And even when I do graduate, I probably won't be able to find a job because I'm being stupid and following my dreams and going into a field with no jobs, so I'll probably wind up being a professional homesless person anyway. So basically, whenever you go to Disney, I'm gonna need you to send a post card to my cardboard box house so I can stare at it and be reminded that it still exists since I won't be seeing it for a loooooong time. Unless some rich guy stumbles upon my box, takes pity on me, and marries me, and takes me to Disney multiple times a year, because I guess that could happen. And then I could get even more rich by writing a movie about a rich guy falling in love with a crazy girl living in a box. Would you be interested in playing the crazy box girl? I'm pretty sure this movie is going to win a gajillion Oscars so....

Y'know, I've decided just now that I am dedicating the next 9 months to convincing my friends that we absolutely need to go to Disney next year during the 2 week break between summer and fall classes. I am going to make this happen. I need a trip to plan! This whole "I don't know when I'm ever going back!" thing is driving me insane. I just need to start being all stealth and slowly slip Disney into their lives. I've gotta start brainstorming ideas...

And girl, we are DEFINITELY going to have an epic Disney meet-up someday. You're right. It just cannot not happen.

Whew. All caught up. Took a trip to Ohio to meet some website people.

21 and at Disney, huh? Sounds like a plan to me.

I remember when I had turned of age and made my first trip to the World after. Not much was really different, except I could have wine with dinner...which, to me, was a big thing...being a big wine guy.

Can't wait to read THAT trip report.

If anyone knows how badly you want to stop going to school, it's me. Trust me. I don't know if I ever told you/wrote it in my TR but I stopped with formal education after 9th grade LOL. Had to be out there performing. Thought I was so cool and that I would be like a superstar by now. I went to a performing arts school and then got my GED and now i'm like "College? I refused to even do that whole high school thing!" Though I will always wonder "what if" I had gone the normal route, the way my parents wanted me to go. But if I did that I'd be wondering "what if" I went my own way like I did. And I think the second what if is worse so I guess I made the right decision. My point is, we all have our own paths in life (how cliche am i right now) and your hard work will pay off. All my friends who are in college are always talking about my ~exciting and glamorous life~ while they have to be in chem lab and all this stuff and I always tell them the same thing: my life sucks right now the same way yours does but all our work will pay off if we just keep going, stay focused, work as hard as we can, and keep our eyes on the prize. You're situation is actually better than most b/c I can tell you have a passion for writing, and also a flair for it, since your TR rocks. A lot of people don't really know what they want to do even in their 3rd year of college. So hopefully this big rambly mess helped a bit and inspired you cause you seem like you need a hug and obviously I can't do that! lol.

Am I even caught up with your last update? I'm kinda sick and I just want to make some tea and lay in bed and read TRs so hopefully I will get to that later =)

Of course the Girls of the DIS trip will happen! Along with the hot calendar!!

I am so excited to order wine with dinner. Though a bunch of restaurants I go to will serve me anyway, It's going to be so exciting at Disney! Even though I'm at that age where everyone parties all the time, I'm really not a get drunk and fall over type of person at ALL. But being Italian, i've loooved wine forever and just want to be able to enjoy a glass with my meal! Yay!

Oh, that trip report is going to be more absurd than even this one is, I can already tell.

Oh my Gahd. I have been away from your TR for WAAAYYYY too long, Lia. And for that, I apologize profusely. It was getting to the point of reading other TR's and PTR's and hotel reviews and about how "Disney has gone downhill" even though Disney is still Awesome, thankyouverymuch, and dining questions and all that insanity...I was reaching critical mass on Disney info (how does that even happen?! I honestly don't know. But it did.) But I'm fully recovered and back into DisMode

You keep uncovering all these weird experiences in North Carolina...and I can't even defend my home state all that much, lol! Weird stuff happens in NC. Especially carpeted malls--I don't understand it either

And if it's cool, I just wanna put my 2cents in on the whole "school kinda sucks" tirade...

It really kinda did at one point in my life. I was going to school for business and marketing and I really thought I was gonna love it. Until my first business-related class: microeconomics. I have never wanted to cause physical harm to myself and others the way I did when I would sit in that class. It would just bring down my whole life, no joke. And then something happened: I just couldn't do it anymore. I had been going to school for twelve years and making near perfect grades and busting my butt for it. So for me to come home and say "I'm not going back" was crazy talk to my parents. But I told them I wasn't going back, I wasn't going to study business, and instead I was going to get a job and work til I figured out what to do with myself. And in the last year, I finally have it figured out. Six years ago, if you had told me I was going to end up going to nursing school, I would have laughed in your face But now, I realize this is what I want to do with my life. Plus it has fringe benefits. I'll be making a LOT more money than I make right now. Money that will soon be used to purchase AP's to Disney World, and even MORE Disney trips!!! Hang in there, Kara!!

So I guess my point is, school can definitely suck. But in the end, it can make the rewards that much sweeter

But anyway, enough of my ramblings. This isn't even my TR!! Can't wait to hear about the next part of your trip!!!

WHAT'S UP GUYS!!!!!!!

And so i'm back. From outerspace!!

I can't believe it has been this long and I really feel kind of awful for abandoning this TR in the way that I have. Whatever, I'm so BACK. Baby.
If you care to hear the story of why I haven't been updating my TR, read this! Sordid details following......

Soooo I got a new laptop 2 months ago. But all my TR notes and edited photos were on my OLD computer. Which is, for lack of a better word, shot. So I got it fixed-ish. By that I mean it's still ravaged with viruses and barely works, but you know, it WORKS. So THEN my mouse broke. Which made sense because it kept getting stuck and then I would bang it, hard, on my desk (everyone knows the way to fix any electronic device is to repeatedly whack it on something, see my old PTR for details and proof.) to get it working again. It finally gave up, and who could blame it really. So my next move was to buy a new mouse but I was being lazy about it and plus, with the holidays, I really didn't need to be spending money on a mouse when I had my perfectly working laptop, especially b/c I had like NO TIME to work on my TR even if I had purchased a new working mouse.

Fast forward to the glorious Christmas Eve and one of my gifts was a bright, shiny, new WHITE mouse with PINK RHINESTONES all over it!!! Oh it was glorious!! So I finally drag my huge old computer back into my room today, set it on my desk, hook everything back up, and..........nothing. Nope. Since my old computer is so virus ravaged, it doesn't accept anything new that has never been installed before. Great. Grand. Wonderful. Glorious!!

The thing about this new pretty pink sparkly mouse is that it is a USB cable, and my old Dell mouse that came with the computer is a PS/2 cable. So I talked to a Dell rep who sold me a PS/2 cable and she said unless there is something wrong with my port, which would be a whole other story, it should work. If not, I got the warranty. So they say it's coming on January 5. I AM PRAYING TO SWEET JESUS THAT I JUST PLUG IT IN AND BLAMO, ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL INTERACTION WITH AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE! But you know. There's a strong possibility it won't work. If that happens, I'll pull my hair out. I can imagine having whatever I need repaired will be hideously expensive.

Sigh.

I *could have* still been on here reading all YOUR TRs and talking with all of you, but I was just kind of...well actually TOTALLY SAD THAT I DIDN'T GO TO WDW IN NOVEMBER AS PLANNED and it just kind of harshed my Disney buzz. I haven't even listened to the DIS Unplugged cause it just HURTS, man!
I am, however, praying and planning and PRAYING that my 21st birthday trip works out. PLEASE GOD!! I don't think I can handle not going to WDW again. I know some people out there have real problems, but here in my bubble of oblivion, I'm hurting and I just really need some of Walt's magic up in my grill. *Cut to me holding my many Mickey plushes and sobbing........*

Sooo JANUARY 5TH!! WE SHALL SEE WHAT HAPPENS! If I can't get on my old computer, I will still start updating again, but it won't be half the trip report it was without all my details! Regardless of the report, all my notes are on my old computer and I just want them for my own. I don't want to forget all those little things. CRY!!!!!!

I hope all of you had a beyond magical, better than the gingerbread house in the Grand Floridian, rootinest tootinest Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate!! I truly do. I miss all of you so much and I can't wait to get back into the DIS GROOVE. Before you know it, April will be here (Time flies so fast that every Christmas I remind myself that my birthday will be here in like a second!) and I will HOPEFULLY be off to the World again and I can start a whole new ridiculous mess of a TR!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, a little update there - we won't be able to leave until at least April 18th, so I won't get to be at WDW actually ON my 21st birthday (April 8)...buuuuut I really don't care. Better late than never!

Ok guys, SEE YOU SOON!!! I CAN'T WAIT TO BE UP AND RUNNING AGAIN!! HAVE A MAGICAL DAY!!

I'm really glad you figured all that stuff out in your life! And I really can't wait to read your CHRISTMAS TR!! Whoo hooo!

oh and p.s. as usual, I don't mind rambling on my TR, I LOVE IT, so just go ahead and ramble all you want. This goes for everyone. Let the rambling commence!

LIA!!!! It feels so wonderful to be posting on your TR again. I don't normally do New Year's resolutions because, well, I usually forget what my resolution was before January is over, but I think our resolution for 2011 needs to be to get our butts to the DIS more often.

PINK RHINESTONED MOUSE? So fabulous. I want one. Mine is just solid pink, which is decidedly less fabulous.

Did you have to sit on the phone for 45660339947 hours with the Dell people? Every single time I have to call Dell (which is often...my laptop is a piece of junk) I spend AN ETERNITY on hold.

This made me laugh so freaking hard. Like, spit water everywhere hard. OMG. I love you. And Liz Lemon.

I think we're neighbors in said "bubble of oblivion". I've done this quite a few times over the past month or so.

Anyway, I hope that whatever Dell is sending you works and you can get all of your TR notes and stuff from your computer. It would really suck to lose everything. So I'm sending some positive technological vibes. Hey, the thing from Dell is supposed to be delivered on my half birthday! That's a great sign.

Actually, that's probably a really bad sign. Don't open it until the 6th!

It feels so good to be back!! You were my only reply though... EVERYONE HAS MOVED ON TO GREENER PASTURES. I understand. LOL. I didn't even think anyone would pay attention to my TR in the first place so whatever. New Year's Resolutions bum me out because ever since 2005 I have been like "This is MY year!!!!!!!" and then I just end up sitting down eating take-out in a ham-stained wedding dress like Liz Lemon. Sigh.

Like I would ever put up with that disgusting mess again. LOL. They have this new thing where instead of calling you can just online chat with someone and it was AMAZING. I had everything done in like 10 minutes and there was no waiting.

Yes. I got that phrase from my favorite author, Augusten Burroughs. He says, "I hate news and information and anything that threatens to shatter the bubble of oblivion in which I live." Once I read that I knew he and I were soulmates. Unfortunately he is gay so I don't know that he would want to marry me, but I am so used to whatever guy I like being gay or married or 100 years old that I barely even notice this anymore LOL.

Day 4, Part 7 In Which I Am A Complete Nutbag

When we last left off on this magnificent adventure, my mom and I had just had the best day at Animal Kingdom we'd ever experienced and now we were ready for some GRUB.

So, you may be wondering what resort bus we needed to get on to put a cap on our exciting AK day?

Well of course it's the ANIMAL KINGDOM LODGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay!

There was a looong line of course, as the park was closing. The bus was full and we had to stand. This is why we will be getting a rent a car next time - oh what a joy it is to just get into your car and GO! While sitting down.

Within minutes we were arriving at AKL. God, I just love it here. This is one of the most amazing resorts in the world. We have never stayed here but I would love to. When we have come in the mornings for breakfast, we always spend a lot of time just roaming around both indoors and out. On my solo trip I found myself lounging around on one of the random decks and before I knew it, over an hour had passed! I imagine actually living there gives your trip a TOTALLY different vibe. Less Disneyish, more Africanish!! So cool!

My mom still didn't know what restaurant we were going to, but the driver had said "For those of you going to Jiko or Boma, this is your stop!" So she knew it was one of those. She asked if it was Jiko because she knows how badly I want to go there (Every time I see a picture of the filet w/ mac and cheese I say in my Lemon voice 'I want to go to there'). But nope, not tonight.

Realizing the only other option was Boma, she yells out, "It's Boma??! WE'RE GOING TO BOMA!!!" We LOVE Boma and have been for breakfast many times, but never dinner. I always heard how great it was, and it fit into my theme of trying more foods on this trip. I am an adventurous person but not when it comes to food. I decided I would try small bites of EVERYTHING, no matter what it was. Buffets are a great opportunity for this because you can just take a little bit of something you don't know if you like, as opposed to a regular restaurant where if you try something new and don't like it, you've wasted a whole meal.

We were super hungry so we practically ran through the lobby, but the beauty of it never ceases to amaze me, no matter how hungry I am! We took the elevator and within minutes were checking in. Again I was treated like the goddess I am and all the cast members started going on and on about how it was my birthday and how things were going on our trip and so on. Really we just wanted food but I still enjoyed all the attention. We did not have to wait long at all for our table. I can't say we waited more than 5 minutes for a table on this trip!

My mom and I were so excited for this. I love trying new places but I love the familiarity of Boma. It is one of our favorites and I couldn't wait to see what it was like at dinner. We were seated in the back right up against the windows and got up right away to get our food.

We split up - you cover more ground that way!! I had fastened my Birthday Pin onto my funky animal print dress (which, you may remember, I had purchased almost a year prior to this trip specifically to wear at Animal Kingdom) and one of the chefs noticed it. Yet AGAIN I was treated like royalty, and this is why Disney is the best. Lots of people talk about the decline in the quality of service, but I have been lucky enough to not experience that. He was so so nice to me, wishing me a happy birthday, asking my name and where I was from and so on. He asked if I liked the food. I said we just got here and I hadn't tried anything yet but it looked amazing and I had heard great things. He told me that if there was ANYTHING at all he could do for me, or that he could make me, he would be happy to. I kind of wanted to name some ridiculous food item just to test him/mess with him but I decided not to take advantage of his kindness LOL. He was really so sweet and I appreciated it very much. It wasn't just a normal thing, he REALLY went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and I love so much when the CMs do that.

Here is my first plate:

Ok, I know that all the safe, normal foods are on top but there was so much adventurerness under there you guys have no idea! LOL. No, really though. I tried everything. I didn't like a lot of it. I'm just picky. The stuff I did like was good, some of it great, none of it blew me away. HOWEVER. I ate more here than I have ever eaten. At one time. EVER. I know this because I have never before had the reaction to food that I had this night. No, not food poisioning.

Intoxication. Meaning like drunk. Meaning like, what happens when you drink copious amounts of alcohol except I had none! I promise. I can not describe the feeling I had at the end of the night any other way than I felt drunk. And when PEOPLE, i'm not saying ME, but you know... human beings in general... are drunk, they get very silly and do silly things and just overall spread silliness around. And that definitely happened. But i'm getting ahead of myself.

Here is my hummus plate:

YUUUMMM. Love hummus. This was my favorite part of the entire buffet (BESIDES the dessert, OH JUST WAIT) If we go back to Boma for dinner I will eat this first. Actually I would go back to this glorious place just for the hummus and dessert alone, not that I can handle it based on my behavior later on in the night but I WILL GET TO THAT. Oooh, foreshadowing~*!

I also tried the soups, but I forgot to take pictures of them. Again, I wasn't blown away. My mom and I kept thinking of bizarre things I could ask the chef to make for me ("Cream of Monkey soup, please! It's a delicacy in Africa, you know..") while we piled a massive amount of food in our mouths.

My mom's plates:

I mean.... I couldn't tell you what most of that stuff is if you paid me a million dollars. What is that green stuff? My mom said something about VEGETABLES...but my brain automatically dismisses that word so I had no idea what she was eating.

She loved the food. A lot more than I did. She is a much more adventurous eater than I am, she enjoys so many different things that I never could!

You may remember me going on and on about Frunch Juice in my Kona Cafe chapter. Well, I am obsessed with it and they have it at AKL (Even if Boma was the worst restaurant ever, I would come back for this juice alone) and something very similar to it at the Poly. I am so in love with this delicious concoction I am smacked in the face with deliciousness the moment it hits my lips! It dawned on me as I was sitting there that even though this wasn't breakfast, I could probably get it. The waitress brought a huge glass of it, and I was in Heaven!

Here is my 2nd super adventurous plate:

I'm such an American. Really. It's so sad. But actually in between my first plate and this plate I had another plate of stuff. I really had no business getting a third plate. I can not explain why I kept eating and eating as if I was in one of those contests where the guys eat like 600 hot dogs in 12 seconds and dip them in water first so they go down easier. Did you see the MTV True Life on that? Dear God.

I mean, all of this would have been fine except that I was so full at this point that I wondered what the surgery to repair the rip in my stomach would be like. I kept eating anyway. My logic was that the surgery would probably hurt but I would be asleep for that part. Then I would have some pain the next day but overall, no biggie.

It was time for dessert. Someone sound the alarm.

Please notice the giant sugar cookie with the teeth marks. I was so eager to eat all of this that I couldn't wait for the picture to be taken.
Oh my God. Best Disney desserts EVER. These kicked the 1900 Park Fare desserts booties all the way downtown. Every single one of them were just above and beyond delicious. I wished SO MUCH that I was less full so I could eat more. Oh man, they were ALL just so freaking good. I had heard so much about the Zebra Domes, and they lived up to the hype and then some, but EVERYTHING was on that level of deliciousness. The cookies were PERFECT too, I wanted to take ten million of them home with me and just eat them until I died. Like I said, I would come back for the desserts only. That plus the Frunch Juice and Hummus, I'm a happy girl.

I figured they were going to bring me a huge birthday cupcake just the same as at 1900 Park Fare. I knew there was no way I could eat it but I would bring it back to CBR to eat another time. Well, I was wrong. They brought me this masterpiece:

DUH! I remembered seeing pictures of this on the Food Porn Thread and then I realized they give cupcakes to little kids, and the adults get this. Well this was an awesome mix of awesomeness. I can't even. It was so awesome that even though my stomach was screaming "STOP! NO MORE! PLEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!" I ate all of it. Except like half the truffle, which I brought back to my room and ate the next morning.

Ok so from left to right. The first thing was like that candy, Chuckles, you know what I'm talking about? Except it was in a pyramid shape. I can't describe or remember the flavor. All I know is that it was delicious and I want one right now. Next. Some kind of apple cake thing I was not crazy about and gave to my mom. Next. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!!!! A macaron. I can't remember what flavor it was. Who cares? Macarons are the most perfect thing God ever created next to Johnny Depp. You can get them barely anywhere. Thank God I live next to Manhattan, where they are quite trendy right now (Cupcakes are out, macarons are in. If you want good ones, go to the Macaron Cafe on 36th, but my FAVORITES are made at Koryodang in Koreatown on W. 32nd & 5th.. JUST GO OMG) and can get them there anytime. They are my favorite new thing and I am obsessed with them, all because I had one at Disney World. Disney just improves my life in so many ways, I can't even describe. So then the last thing here is a chocolate truffle with ganache inside and crispies outside. Yuuuuuuuuuummmmmooo. After this I ate even more of the normal desserts. I know, It's sickening. I just am nuts, is the thing. The sooner you accept this the sooner you will understand this trip report.

My mom and I were laughing a lot, joking and carrying on during the whole dinner, but especially toward the end. It was getting late (our ADR had been for 8:55) and Boma was clearing out but we were still whooping it up like no one's business. Around this time I started to feel.... well. DRUNK. Like I said. Not drunk in the way of like, "I JUST DID 10 SHOTS, LET'S GO FIND SOME PEOPLE TO SPRAY PAINT!" But just... sillier, happier, inhabitions GONE. You know the drill. I think it was a mix of overtiredness, being really hungry and then the fullest i've ever been, and just happiness from being at Disney. But i'm telling you I FELT DRUNK. There is no mistaking that feeling. If you've been drunk you know it. When you're drunk, you're drunk.

When I say this I promise I am not joking. Not trying to be funny or anything. This really happened and I have no explanation for it.

I was drunk. At Boma. Not on alcohol. Didn't have a drop. I was drunk on food at Disney World. Which is just typical. I mean of course that would happen. I'm pretty sure I caused a scene all over town that night. Who knows where we ended up? Who we met? Probably stole a tiger from Mike Tyson or some such action like that. Who knows really?

Actually we just took a cab back to CBR. Didn't see Mike Tyson. Although, you remember the woman from the family in the back of the bus from our insane bus ride to Wonderland??? WE SAW HER. At this point I was just laughing at EVERYTHING and so I got such a kick out of seeing her. "OH MY GOD! THIS IS SO WEIRD! MOM! MOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!! Mom. THIS IS THE LADY FROM THE CRAZY BUS LAST NIGHT REMEMBER?!" Both the lady and my mom gave me what I call the "mom look" which is when moms are questioning your sanity but don't actually say anything outloud.

At one point my mom was getting something in the shop so I sat on a bench outside. There was like NO one around and I was kind of in that calm drunk daze mellow state that happens. I guess.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a woman comes RUNNING across the parking lot pushing an empty stroller. She was wearing those large mickey hand stuffed glove things and a huge goofy hat. Her child, who I assume belonged in the stroller, was running behind her. It was the most bizarre thing to see when you are drunk on food. Where did they come from? Why were they running? What could they be late for at this hour? Why wasn't the child in the stroller? When you are rushing, are giant plush Mickey hands really the right choice? What is she even doing? What is even going on?

We were going to take a bus to Downtown Disney and then from there go to CBR, since that was the only way to get back besides taking a cab. We realized that was stupid and I was way too drunk for that anyway. So the super nice and super cute CM who I may have flirted with a lot, or a little... who remembers? got us a cab. I did not take him home with me. Thank God, because the hilarity that happened when we got back was too ridiculous for people who are not us.

I don't remember much of the cab ride to be honest. All I remember is having to pee SO BAD that I could not walk from where he dropped us off to our room. I had to RUN to the custom house to pee first. My mom thought I was going to throw up but it's just that my bladder was screaming. I drank so much water, diet coke, and Frunch Juice that by the time we got back to the room, I had to pee SO BAD again.

On the way to the room, my mom had to keep shushing me because I was yelling at the salamanders. It is a blur to me now but I just remember it being the most fun thing ever. So much laughing and ridiculousness and carrying on. We were having a blast.

So we get back to the room. Everything seems cool. I'm sitting on the bed looking at the pictures I had taken that day. I go to get up and I just instantly FALL DOWN. Not even straight down. I fell with style and like LEAPED. I mean, I was against the headboard of the bed sitting, and then before I knew it I was LAYING past the end of the bed, on the floor. As soon as I hit the floor I started hysterically laughing and yelled, "WHAT HAPPENED?" My mom witnessed the entire thing and made sure I was okay before BURSTING OUT INTO UNCONTROLLABLE LAUGHTER. I laughed so hard I started crying. I couldn't help it. It was the funniest thing EVER. I'm surprised no one called in a noise complaint, we were DYING. I mean it was just so funny. We both have no idea what happened. I thought I tripped something but there was nothing there. It was just me being incapable of digesting Boma desserts correctly. You know those people who can't hold their alcohol? I can't hold food. And Disney. All together.

The lesson is this folks: Don't get drunk at Boma. OR do, and have the most hysterical time. And MANAGE YOUR EATING, for God's sake.

Up next, day 5: Some soloness, no lines, ducklings, Magic Kingdoming, Grand Flordianing, a BIG SURPRISE!!!!, a canceled ADR, a random walk-up, World Showcasing, an argument, more soloness, a fight, insanity at Fantasmic.....whew. Getting tired just thinking about it!

Liaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! First of all, love your update.

Unfortunately, I'm about to leave work (where the decent internet is) to go home to my SUPER SLOW INTERNET THAT TAKES ABOUT 4 REFRESHES FOR MY FREAKIN HOME GOOGLE PAGE TO LOAD.

Sooooze, I'll be giving you that huge reply I'm dying to type out...this Saturday, when I'm back at work.

Just want to say though, Andrew and I celebrated his b-day and our anniversary at TS places and didn't get anything =< Not even a cupcake, or a song at WCC! Well.....at WCC, they were singing that song like non-stop the whole we were there cause EVERYONE had a birthday, so I'm glad they didn't do it for me. But I'm just a slight bit disappointed.....Oh wells, it's not like they HAVE to do anything special.

I'm so happy you got a freakin MACARON. I love those things! Koreans seem to make them pretty well eh? I also get mine at a Korean bakery that makes French desserts. I plan to try my hand at making some of my own. I'll let you know how that disaster will go.

Oooo I've never been to AKL, but I definitely want to stay there someday. The idea of being able to sit on your balcony and watch giraffes being their awesome giraffe selves is so cool!

That's awesome that the chef noticed your birthday pin and was so sweet about it. Just one of the many reasons I'm OBSESSED with Disney.

This probably shouldn't come as a surprise, but I totally know the feeling you're talking about. I, too, have been drunk on food at Disney. Actually, I'd classify it more as feeling a bit tipsy on food. It happened last summer at 'Ohana, so I'll be covering it in my TR. I wasn't quite as silly as you, but I was deliriously giggling for a good part of the meal. My mom kept asking if I was ok. My sister and I ordered virgin strawberry daquiris and my mom was convinced there was alcohol in mine. But it didn't taste like it had any alcohol in it, so it must have been the food.

So the lesson here is, be careful, people. Food drunkeness is a real thing. I think that's why there are so many posts complaining about the drunkeness of the Food and Wine Festival. Combining food drunkeness AND alcohol drunkeness? I can see why people would be acting crazy.

Boma looks super yummy. It's on my dream ADR list. Of course, I probably won't be eating there for a while because my family wants nothing do with it. They aren't very adventurous eaters, either. Although, if I show them the picture of your American plate, maybe they'll change their minds.

OMG. Did you have to drink your Frunch Juice out of a paper straw? They don't even have plastic straws at the table service restaurants? Crazy town. Now, I want to go to Boma even more.

When you are rushing, are giant plush Mickey hands really the right choice?
Giant plush Mickey hands are always the right choice. Unless you're trying to text. They need to sell some giant plush Mickey hands with thumb tips that come off.

Seriously, Lia. We need to go to Disney with eachother sometime so we can get drunk on food and yell at salamanders together. It would be good times.
