Wow! I'm tired just READING about your first day! I'm glad you're comfortable with traveling solo, because when you come to CA, we won't be able to keep up with you! I can't take naps either, once I'm up I'm up, but I need to slow down and take breaks, have a drink, kick it in the room.
Sounds like you had a great day, I hope you actually slept in the following day! If I was up until 3AM I wouldn't be out of bed before noon!  I'm really getting old!

Wow, your first day was jam packed! No wonder you passed out when you got back to your hotel. It sounds like you had a good time with the DIS meets. The Haunted Mansion is also my favorite at the Magic Kingdom. I love waiting to hear the gargoyles in the stretching room!

What a great first day!!! It sounds like you had such a great time meeting Heather and Ali!
 I can't wait til we all do our Dis trip!  I like the title of the TR too, I hope I can think of something as cute for mine when I have to write it! Your pictures are so great...what kind of camera do you have? They are so crisp and colorful! I'm trying to convince Brandon to let me get a new camera before our trip, but he doesn't seem to excited about it.

I won't have any vacation time until 2012, since mine for next year is already booked, and that would give everyone time to save and everything... Just an idea My camera is actually about 4 years old and in desperate need of replacement. The pixels on the screen are starting to die, the dial popped off about two years ago, and the shutter button has started to stick. It's a Panasonic DMC-LZ5. It's worked really well for the last several years, it's just that I really need to get a new one before I go to DLR and next year's WDW trip. The only pics that come out well on my camera are daytime pics. The flash is so bright that everything comes out washed out, and if I don't use it, night time pics come out weird  Quote:

         I took this pic for Joni!     Me and Heather with Piglet and Eeyore.  I don't think he liked the hat.  Lumar, Ali, Heather, and Brad, with Dole whips.  I somehow cut Brad out of this pic on Splash.   After stopping for sandwiches, Ali fed Piglet the ham sandwich. And that's the end of pictures for 10/23! I discovered why I had so many pics from this day. I saw the Move It thing, the 3:00 parade, the castle show, and Spectro. So lots of pics!

Cool pix. I almost cried at the dole whips. Somehow, I couldn't fit a stop in to get one when I was at MK....or maybe it was that each time I walked past the shop, I had just eaten and couldn't fit another thing in

 I can't believe your camera is 4 years old! Mine is one year old and I feel like it takes crappy pictures! I've been reading that Panasonics are the best brand to get for point and shoot, which is weird, because I would assume it would be Canon or Sony. My camera is a Canon and it's ok, but it could be better!
