Advice for senior traveling from LAX to La Jolla? - The DIS Discussion Forums

My MIL's friend is coming to visit and she booked a flight in/out of LAX. The problem, my MIL lives in La Jolla and we now need to get the friend there.

We have already looked into flights (too expensive for a senior on a budget), and the Flyaway from LAX to Union Station for the Amtrak to Oceanside. Are there any shared ride shuttles that go from LAX to SAN?

Of course, this friend has waited until the last minute for us to solve her problem.

I don't think there is but if she is flying Southwest can she change to San Diego airport?

I would check limores dot com - I paid 89 to go from lax to Costa Mesa....and usually by taxi this is 130ish.
