When do the Christmas decorations come down

We are going to WDW on the 4th of January and I am hoping that we will get to see a few of these amazing Disney decorations. Does anyone know if they will still be up a little bit past New Years?

Thanks so much!

We went down on the 4th a couple of years ago. It was hit or miss. It appeared that the majority of them were down but it still looked like Xmas. For example there was no sign of the gingerbread house at GF. The Osbourne lights were still up (but weren't functioning properly).

we were there mid january this year [during the FREEZE] and everything was still up and they were still playing Christmas music! So we celebrated a second Christmas...

Went this past January from the 7th until the 16th. Christmas decorations were still EVERYWHERE, although of course they were not still doing the special events like the Osborne Family Lights or anything (although during the day you could tell those lights were still hung on all the building!).

I believe the decorations were left up longer last year because of the freeze. I think they typically come down much sooner. I wouldn't plan on them still being up, but consider them a bonus if they are. If I were you I'd just get to the MK on your first day and see.

Generally, they are mostly down by the end of first week in January.
