There are actually only about four houses on my street that are decorated and one of them is the house next to us

A second is a block down, and the third is us. I think there's a fourth, but I'm not sure.

I love the Halloween decorations!

i LOVE halloween. It is by far my favorite holiday which is why I was so set on going to MNSSHP and why, one way or another, I will probably go next year too (and the year after that etc) Love your decorations! I am so excited for your big trip! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Hi! That's pretty funny that we're there at the same time, same resort, and same airline

So far, the forecast is good, but we'll see. Florida weather is almost as iffy as Chicago weather!

Honestly, I think it only took about an hour and a half, maybe less. It really didn't take that long, since the inflatable things just stake into the ground. We also have some styrofoam gravestones, a couple of things hanging from the gutters, and lights and ghosts on the porch. There are some ghosts hanging in the ivy, too, which looks pretty neat

Even that hour and a half...you have to think about them and buy them....I already have Xmas decorations, so I hope that I can swing them this year. I also want a tree which means I have to clear a spot for the tree. I'm looking at my normal spot and it's piled high with boxes. I need to work on that. But first we have to fumigate the house!

Why do you need to fumigate....or should I NOT ask?

Termites, we've had them for a few years now, but with her father being sick and irrational there was no way we could take care of ourselves. Now that he's gone and we're getting ready to rent the vacant apartment we need to take care of it before a tenant moves in. We certainly don't want to pay for the tenant to stay in a motel room, so we need to take care of the fumigation before we put the apartment on the market.

However, it is a BIG ordeal. I have a LOT of food in the house (I have an extra freezer in the garage not to mention a freezer full of food in each apartment 1, 2 & 4) that needs to be bagged up. Plus any opened ointments, medications, topical liquids need to be bagged. It's a lot of work. In fact we will probably end up throwing out a lot of stuff. If you will ingest it or apply it to the skin, it needs to be bagged or tossed.

the only reason we do is because I help my mom. Otherwise she wouldn't do it
