The Official 2010 MNSSHP- Tips,Tricks and a few Treats !

Wow-- going to the party 2 nights is really beginning to look attractive! I would to see all the characters, but I need to see the headless horseman/parade, ride BTMRR and Dumbo at night, and see the fireworks! Decisions, decisions!

Having been to 8 parties between MNSSHP and MVMCP, I've got to say it isn't easy to see that many characters in one night even if that is all you focus on. Each line will probably take half an hour at least for the popular ones. The night flies by. Believe me.

The Villian Meet and Greet after the show is usually a zoo and it isn't easy to see each character. They each have their own line and they don't stay out that long.

The Alice Trail isn't bad though.

Has anyone had any luck changing the dates for their MNSSHP tix after they had already purchased? We have them for Nov 1 and I would like to change to Oct 27. Will I be able to do it when we arrive at WDW on the 23? I am not looking to a cash refund- I know they are non-refundable.

If you line up for Maleficent, probably not. You'll be able to see it, but it's not ideal for taking pictures.

You can also line up for Cruella first, the past couple of years her line has been right in the center. I'm not sure where they are putting Facilier, he may cause the line up to switch.

How does the villains M&M work. Are there markers where the line is for each villian? Is it possible to get them all after a single show? any tips are appreciated. We are doing the 09/21 & 09/23 MNSSHP. Yup, doing 2

We are with you there. We are also doing two nights as well. We want charaters, but we want to see the FW's, parade etc too.

Characters, we want to get those that we have never seen before or the characters that you can only get at the party like some of the villians, SW & the 7 D, Tarzan etc.... If we can get a charater during the day or got them before, we're not going to waste time on those...

I tried asking the Creative Board, but no luck so far: Have any of you used Glow in the Dark fabric paints for your costumes?

I don't think tie-dye would work with glow in the dark paint. If it was a dye, it would, but paint is thicker than a dye, so I don't think it would work too well. I did a quick Google search and one craft website suggested painting after the tie dye has set, if that helps any

I only want to see hag, dwarves, mickey and minnie and abu.. possibly wtp characters and possibly bullseye.. Dwares are our must and we want to see parade/fireworks/dance party/mandm

The first year we went, we did one party. In 2008, we did 2 parties and STILL didn't see everything we wanted!

This time we're going with family to one party, and I'm seriously considering going to a party before the rest of the family gets there. I KNOW we can't do everything I want in one night, and I want that family party to be oriented around the family wishes. I have a feeling we'll be at 2.

It's either a 2nd MNSSHP or Universal. MNSSHP is cheaper

Im going october 31, i know its going to be busy
We are not doing any rides, we are spending the day at the MK, i have 2 kids (9&5), so they will want to stop at every treat spot they see

Is Abu with Alladin, and Genie with Jasmine? Not a chance we get to see Abu and Genie together? Same thing as Jane and Tarzan? No way to see them together?

Looks great!!

Abu and Genie are likely to be on 30 minute rotations, so it will be unlikely you'll get them together. However, Aladdin and Jasmine will have 5 minutes here and there when they are meeting together. Same goes for Tarzan and Jane.

Boy, I must tell you it's really hard to keep up to date with this thread!

I've been reading as carefully as I could,but could not find the answer to this question:

I've seen pictures of Capt Jack Sparrow posing in past MNSSHPs. Was he available and was discontinued? Any chance he'll be appearing this year?
