typically, are the parties the same days each year? For examply, this year they seem to fall on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights? We're staying at WDW next September 23, 2011 (a Friday) for one night and I was hoping perhaps we'd be able to attend MNSSHP next year?

Any idea when the event dates come out for 2011?

I will be at the very first MNSSHP on Sept 14th so I will take a ton of pictures and try to remember everything. I can add tips the next day but pictures will have to wait until I get home and can upload them, so look for those around the 20th!!!!!!

Last years party started the week of Labor day- (I also do not recall Saturday Parties- so typically--no. This year starts on Sept 14th.

I think it was announced sometime in May about this years parties

We're supposed to go on October 12. It will be our first party. I tought about going as Leota and one of her husband. Does it sounds like a good idea or a bit too creepy?
I'm so looking forward to that trip.

I don't think Leota was the bride...
Can someone clarify this for me (sorry I'm a huge mansion fan.)

Really? I always just assumed she was the bride. I might be wrong though.

The name of the bride is Constance.

Edward Gracey (Gracie?) was the last husband and owner of the mansion, before his death.

This will be our seventh Disney trip and everytime I tell myself I will not bring so much crap, but it never happens. We are there for 12 days, and not only do I bring 9 suitcases, I have to borrow from family to make sure we have enough large ones Thank goodness for the magical express. The 50 pound thing... this is where it gets really .... my DH makes me bring the digital scale - there must have been an incident once- but I can't remember it ! He stands on the scale, then grabs the bag, if it is more than 48 pounds I have to shuffle some junk.
Last year, I had to have Disney mail home one of those 80.00 dollar castles and a monorail (for my DH -- NOT my DS ) After all these trips, I would think we should have every souvenior known to man, but they still end up killing me at the giftshop .

DISCLAIMER : Although I am the original poster, for the packing list.. I promise I do not bring everything on it.... If you want to see the maddness... check out the packing list link in my signature.
I have to bring extra space for the things we will buy there, but never could I dream of a 12 day trip. Wanna take me? We are using Frontier miles for our October trip so feel lucky. Hubby is an Ascent member. I am just a shopper

When did you get that response? I mailed last week and got a generic reply of the events that occur during the party and not a time to enter!

You will love them! I can't wait for book 4 Neither can my son (age 7) or husband. It is a family affair. When we drive to Disneyland we take the audio books for the ride.

Since the 4 Pm entry seems to be confirmed, can anyone help me with meeting characters. i REALLY wanna make sure I get a pic with Mickey at the party...how early do people line up to meet him? Does he come right out at 7, but do people line up earlier than that? When should I get in line?
Thanks

Thanks for this information. I guess I never got the storyline then.
