I cannot tell you how invaluable this thread is for me! I was just telling DH earlier today how I want to use our snack credits more wisely...granted, we stay CL @ Poly every time, and they have cookies and popcorn or chips in the lounge in the afternoon, but I'd MUCH rather have a corn dog or bacon cheese fries! Or a crepe or a giant pretzel or funnel cake or...

I mean, no contest!

Usually, we use all of our credits by buying the big chocolate chip or pb cookies on our last day and taking them home. But really, honestly...no one needs that many giant, 800+ calorie cookies. Especially after the trip when you're trying to lose any weight you gained in WDW! I mean, at the airport last year I had to put them in my carry-on - otherwise I would have needed to pay extra for my heavy suitcase!

Not carb friendly but delicious

Most of the resorts have biscuits and gravy for a snack credit. You can also get a fruit cup if you insist on eating healthy though.

I totally agree with you! I subbed this thread over a year ago and it really made me use to snack credits wisely! Plus, it helped me explore and narrow down the good things you can get and where to get them! I have forever thankful! I learned so much more about snacks then I use to!

I shared this thread with DH and his eyes near popped out of his head!! He agreed that we have been sadly, sadly wasting (waist-ing? haha) our credits (as he put it: We buy all those cookies to 'give to other people' but we never give them to anyone). Now there's a whole new world of snack credits to explore!

Which makes the next 60 days seem that much longer...

I have more but my computer is being a poop so I'll post them later.

We tried this and were so not impressed. I expected it to be sweeter and not as dense.

Not my cup of tea

Schoolbread is not my cup of tea either. I saw the Butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls on a thread and tried it last year and did not appreciate its qualities either.

Luckily there are so many choices that you would be hard pressed to NOT find something you like though.

Might I suggest that you all give Writer's Stop at DS a try next trip? It is off the beaten track and has some of the best looking snacks I have ever seen and most are on the DP.

I did not like schoolbread either. But I did like the Butterfinger cupcake-but cannot be eaten at one sitting or must be shared.

I second the Writer's Shop recommendation. Every time I visit DHS, I visit the Writer's Shop.

Double your pleasure, double your fun

Poohbug, I am with you on sharing desserts. Do not think of it as only getting half a dessert but having the opportunity to try twice as many.
