What an adventure just trying to arrive at your destination! How sad for that man on the train tracks

I absolutely loved the videos - thank you for sharing! It really made me feel like I was there with you. Don't you think the parade floats are so much better in Disneyland Paris? I love the ones here in the U.S. but the ones there are gorgeous! I loved Alice in Wonderland float

Your little boy is so adorable waving his Pirates flag - what a cutie!

The floats really are great. Did you notice that they have 2 different themed ends? The Alice float doubles as a Pinnochio float in the end and the Peter Pan float as Mary Poppins and the Lion King float doubles as Jungle Book float

Oh my goodness! I am in AWE right now. I can't believe how AMAZING those parade floats are!!! 10x better than anything I've seen at Disney World, that's for sure. I'm shocked. Thanks so much for sharing.

After the Once Upon a Dream parade ended, lots of people went back to their hotels or having dinner. So I decided that Merlijn should finally get into Big Thunder Mountain.
He tried to do that last year, but he came 1cm short and was heart broken over that.

At Big Thunder Mountain we had absolutely no waiting time, just a long walk through the queueing area. I feel pretty stupid that I totally forgot to make pictures of the ride or the perfectly themed queueing area. But I did purchase the ride photo which was really horrible. So I'm not showing it here. The only reason I purchased it was that it was Merlijns first time BTM.

Merlijn was absolutely thrilled that we did BTM he thought it was exciting, tad scary, but he loved it.

After BTM we went to Phantom Manor.

For people not knowing the story of Phantom Manor. The man of the house was the owner of Big Thunder Mining Compagny in Thunder Mesa (the village of Frontierland). His daughter and an employee of the Big Thunder Mining compagny fell in love with eachother and were about to get married. But the fiancé didnt turn up at their weddingday. Leaving the girl heartbroken. You can still see her ghost waiting in her bridal gown for her fiancé.
What happened to the guy? No one knows, but there are actually haunted graves in the garden, one of them without a name.

I'm sorry for the blurry pictures, but I have to show them

The bride crying in front of a mirror. And the steam thats on the mirror is shaped as a skull.

scary skelleton man in the manor.

After Phantom Manor, I went back to Main Street USA, check out a store Lilly's Boutique which offers lots of home stuff like towels, bath stuff, kitchen stuff etc. I love it there:

After visiting some other stores, I walked to the Center Stage at Central Plaza and wait for the last show of Mickey's Showtime Spectacular of that day.
More about that in the next update of our TR.

Let there be light!

After Mickey's Showtime Spectacular, the CM's were preparing the track for Disney's Fantillusion Parade. A couple of crazy castmembers were walking around selling those light thingy's:

And Merlijn choose one with Minnie. The skirt actually lit up :D

At 10:30PM the Fantillusion parade began. The floats are really amazing. They actually change shape during the parade, right in front of your eyes.
Its about evil stealing the light, and all lights in Mainstreet USA and the Castle are turned off. And then the princesses come and good brings light back to the parcs.

Here are some pictures:

A short wait after the Fantillusion parade, the Enchanted firework started. It was really pretty. I really like the music of the movie Enchanted and that with fireworks. Amazing!

The pictures are not perfect but I hope you will still enjoy them:

After the fireworks I just sat on the bench waiting for the exit-rush to die down. Merlijn fell asleep in his stroller.
And then I walked through Mainstreet, through Disny Village and past other hotels back to my own hotel Santa Fé.

The alarmclock went off at 7AM, just like a normal weekday :D But this time I went to bed at 1AM.
I get dressed, have difficulties to wake up Merlijn, but we head to the parcs at 7:45AM. We have breakfast at Plaza Gardens restaurant at 8:15AM.
Remember that breakfast is included in a Disneyland hotel stay. And once during your stay, you can have breakfast in the park, either in Chatelet au Marionet or Plaza Gardens restaurant for free, ofcourse its subject to availability.

Here are a couple of pictures of breakfast. I know I should have made more and better pictures, maybe use some flash. But I was still trying to get to know my new photocamera.

After breakfast we walked towards Fantasyland with the castle on my left hand view.

Hello Fantasyland!

Sorry for not finishing my TR before. Lets get to the second part of Day 2.

First we tried to get into Buzz Lightyears Lazer Blast, too bad that it was going to open later that day due to unknown reason. So we walked towards Fantasyland as you could see in the pictures I posted before.

First we went into Mat Hatters Tea Cups. Merlijn looks really serious in this attraction, but he loved it.

Then its Dumbo time :D

The view from the Flying Elephants is amazing:

After the Elephants Merlijn wanted to ride the horsies in Lancelots Carrousel:
