So, as long as you're in line before 7:15, you'll probably get in on the first group to see SW & 7? I'm guessing if you get in line early, you wait and if you get in line later, you wait around an hour no matter what?

I could really use some advice on how to maximize my time. I've only been to MVMCP once and it was really crowded and we only saw a few characters b/c I feel like we had to waste a lot of time getting a spot for the show, parade, and fireworks b/c we were packed in like sardines!

Also, does Nov 1 ever sell out? How are the crowds? I don't care if they top off our candy bags when we leave, but they won't run out elsewhere will they? My kids would be disappointed! lol

And yours would be an easy, breezy dress with your hair up! Perfect at 7 months! BTW, props to you HappyDisneyMom for going at 7 months. There's NO WAY I would have, unless that meant the labor would have been easier.
Thanks We went once when I was 4 months and I thought I was going to die Soo this time around I'm going to make sure I keep up my workout beforehand but I'm not expecting any miracles...DM is coming and renting one of those electric scooters so we figured we'd share.

By late September the parks during the day are pretty decent crowd wise, but expect party attendance to be fairly heavy. We were there 9/29 and 10/1 last year. Both parties were fairly well attended, but still quite manageable. Could I have done all Berlioz did? No. But we still had a great time.
Thanks for responding-hey as long as the parks during the day aren't that bad-that's all that matters. The day we're going to MNSSHP we plan on staying by the pool and relaxing anyway-this way we'll be ready to go for the party.

I must say good idea but not a fav of mine. DH wants to go as Darth Vader...so MAYBE I was going to make DD2.5 Princess Leia, DS4 Luke Skywalker, and DS1 Yoda...and make myself Padme(Luke & Leia's Mom)...What do you guys think?

The 28th because we'll be there the 30th..lol j/k...but I would say the 28th anyway because there is EMH in the morning for MK on the 30th. We're not going on the 28th because it's DH and I's anniversary.

This is from Cheshire Figment at this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread....352579&page=33

The Military Discount MNSSHP tickets are available at any Ticket Window or Guest Relations Office. They are not available at the Resorts, SoG, or military bases. Limit is six tickets for any one night. The specific dates currently available are all in September: 14, 18, 21, 23, 28 and 30. Pricing, including tax, is $40.23/$35.75.

You are very welcome -- it's going to be a LONG 60+ days until that first party -- at least I can read about the first parties to get me through the 90 days that I still have to wait

I highly suggest just getting in line between 6 and 6:30. Or at least go to the area and pin down where the line will be and watch for others to start getting in line.

YES, that makes for a long wait, but much of your wait is outside of party hours. If they come out at 7:30 like last year (which I think is nuts... why not 7???) then it only takes slightly more than 30 minutes of party time. You can then go see Mickey and Minnie or stake out a spot for the parade.

If you go later, you have a longer wait during party time, and risk hitting one of their 30 minute breaks. That's when it becomes a HUGE time drain.

This might not be the right place to ask, but perhaps you can direct me elsewhere --

if I am NOT attending the MNSSHP, would it still be okay to visit the MK on a day that it is scheduled?

I guess what I'm tyring to figure out is what the crowds are like in MK on the day/morning when there is a party at night.

thanks!
