Last night, I was thinking about my itinerary. I decided to swap two of my days. Instead of doing DHS on Monday 10/25 and MK all day on Tuesday 10/26, I'm going to spend all day at MK on Monday 10/25 because they have evening EMH. On Tuesday 10/26, I'm going to spend the morning and afternoon at DHS and then head over to MK for MNSSHP. I've canceled my Sci-Fi reservation for Monday and instead picked up a reservation at Chef Mickey's over at the Contemporary. I also decided to change my breakfast ADR for 10/28 to a lunch ADR at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Because F&W will be going on, I think I'm just going to wander around there and snack around lunchtime and use the CS credit I was thinking about using that day on another day.
So now my itinerary looks like this: Sunday 10/24 - Check in, lunch at Pop, Magic Kingdom, MNSSHP, dinner at Crystal Palace at 6 Monday 10/25 - Magic Kingdom, lunch at Pecos, dinner at Chef Mickey's at 6:20, evening EMH Tuesday 10/26 - DHS morning/afternoon, lunch at Backlot, Magic Kingdom evening, MNSSHP, dinner at Liberty Tree at 5:20 Wednesday 10/27 - Epcot, F&W OOP, dinner at Rose and Crown at 5:35, evening EMH Thursday 10/28 - Magic Kingdom, morning EMH, lunch at Grand Floridian Cafe at 12:30, dinner at Cosmic, MNSSHP Friday, 10/29 - Downtown Disney, lunch at Earl of Sandwich, fly home ![]() I also spoke to my parents again and explained the trip to my dad. They're fine with me going on my own, but they're both interested in coming. They don't know if they can afford it, though. My dad's been out of work for almost four years and has been managing to find day work here and there, but it's not stable. I told them to just let me know by September and we'd figure it out then, since my final payment is due September 9. I did invite them on the trip Jacquie and Ian and I are going on next year, so they may join us then if they can't come this year.

Gaaah, apparently I'm very indecisive when I'm bored. I changed around a couple of my ADR's again.
This way, I can have my fish and chips without using a TS credit for them, since that's what I was gonna get at Rose and Crown. Hopefully I won't change my ADR's again unless my parents decide to come or I get an ADR at Le Cellier. I'm not expecting the latter to happen ![]() The bolded bits are what I changed. Sunday 10/24 - Check in, lunch at Pop, Magic Kingdom, MNSSHP, dinner at Crystal Palace at 6 Monday 10/25 - Magic Kingdom, lunch at Pecos, dinner at Chef Mickey's at 6:20, evening EMH Tuesday 10/26 - DHS morning/afternoon, lunch at Backlot, Magic Kingdom evening, MNSSHP, dinner at Liberty Tree at 5:20 Wednesday 10/27 - Epcot, F&W OOP, lunch at Yorkshire Fish Shop, dinner at Cape May at Y&B at 5:15, evening EMH Thursday 10/28 - Magic Kingdom, morning EMH, lunch at Grand Floridian Cafe at 12:30, dinner at Cosmic, MNSSHP Friday, 10/29 - Downtown Disney, lunch at Planet Hollywood at 12 OOP, fly home

DH & I are going there for Thanksgiving Dinner (I was shocked I got that ADR !) another reason is you have the ADR for an EMH day so don't know if I want to go just to have to part ways after dinner BIG reason though is I always seem to be doing the dinner there lately (which I love don't get me wrong) but I would like breakfast there for a change its been awhile (wouldn't want it the day after MNSSHP) so I'll let you know...thanks for asking

So free dining got extended through December! ![]() I was about to go to bed and then I decided to check my email and saw in a notification for Nermel9's PTR that they extended it, so I decided to get online and check the details and, if I could, book it. There's a stipulation for six days of park tickets, but that's only a $10 difference from the four days I already have, and then from what I understand, upgrading from the QSDP to the DDP is about $10 a day, so I'd be saving about $100, even with that additional $60 or so. Not much, but it helps I also may be able to use this to poke my parents into coming, since the free dining would save us almost $550 for the three of us. To my dad, $1500 will sound better than a little over $2000.The additional park tickets will require me to change one of my ADR's, but it's just Planet Hollywood, and I was going to pay it out of pocket anyway. I can just grab lunch at Casey's or something, since I'll probably wind up at the MK for the morning and then go back to Pop to catch DME to go to the airport. Does anyone know if tips are expected on DME? I've never used it, and a search in the transportation boards didn't pull anything up. I'm on the phone with them right now, waiting on hold.

I just got off the phone with reservations, and I got my free dining plan!
![]() I paid to upgrade from the QSDP to the DDP, but it's worth it to me. When I first booked my package, it was $1043.98, but now with the free dining (and upgrade to DDP), it's $884.03. So, with the $200 deposit, I just owe Disney $684.03 It may not sound like much to anyone else, but that makes my paychecks go a little further over the next couple months ![]() I also put in a request for the 70s building at Pop, and was told that I don't need to have 6 days of park tickets. Apparently, I just read the post on the Dis blog wrong. The wonderful lady I spoke to said that my four days of tickets were just fine So I'm keeping my Planet Hollywood reservation. The main reason I have that one is because of the meal voucher that you get with the Magic Your Way package. Since I'm the only one in my room, I won't be using the mini-golf voucher, so I may as well use that one I'm just planning on getting something cheap so that I won't have to pay too much over the voucher value. Like a cheeseburger and milkshake or something.I also called my mom and told her about the free dining plan. They're due home in about seven hours or so. As I said above, I did the math, and with the free dining plan, if they came down, we'd save enough to almost cover our airfare. So she's going to talk to my dad about it on the drive up. However, I need to get the heck to bed, because I've been up since 5pm yesterday and it's 10:30am now. ![]() I just had to squee about the free dining

Yay I'm glad you got free dining too, I'm SO excited!!!! I was on hold for 20 minutes, and I asked the CM if they were getting lots of calls for FD and she said it's been crazy all morning! I guess a lot of people are happy FD is extended! I had to downgrade from WL to POR but I don't care, I know I will love POR and I saved almost $900 doing so, so I'm thrilled!
Yay free dining!!! ![]()

I'm glad I didn't, though, because I didn't want to risk not being able to get the discount. My best friend and I were planning on POR for our trip, but now that we're going next year, that may change, especially since I'm trying to talk my family into coming down. I'm hoping that next year I can get my parents, brother and his girlfriend, and sister and her boyfriend and my niece to all come down, because I think that would be fantastic Anyway! Yay free dining! ![]() ![]()

Hi!
We've got a lot of the same plans! I'll be at MNSSHP on the 24th and 26th, and Epcot on the 27th! I always love meeting new DIS'ers! I have met a couple IRL now!

![]() That's cool that we have some of the same plans What are you wearing to the parties? I'll be wearing a pirate costume at one of them, and probably a witch at another and I'm not sure what else at the third. We'll have to see if we can meet up somewhere at one of the parties or at Epcot ![]() I'll go check out your PTR

I'm bored and waiting for my parents to get home. The alternator in their car went out while they were driving home, which made them have to stop and get it fixed. They're in the city, they're just stopping to get some dinner and then they'll be home.
So I'm posting the rides I'm going to try and hit up on my days I've got 3 1/2 days at MK, so I'm sure I'm going to get to all of my rides there multiple times.MK Must-Do's Jungle Cruise Pirates of the Caribbean Splash Mountain Big Thunder Mountain Hall of Presidents Haunted Mansion Railroad Riverboat Space Mountain TTA Monster's Inc 3:00 parade Night parade Fireworks I'm only spending half a day at DHS, but these are the only rides I really want to go on anyway, so I'm positive I'll be able to get it done ![]() DHS Must-Do's The Great Movie Ride Studio Backlot Tour Toy Story Midway Mania! Rock 'n' Roller Coaster The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Epcot Must-Do's Spaceship Earth Test Track Nemo Soarin' Explore the World Showcase F&W Illuminations I'm easily pleased
