Earning My Ears

Hi there. My friend and I are heading to WDW on Thursday and we are both HUGE fans of the show Lost. I read somewhere that there used to be props, scripts, and clothing from the show in the ABC Commissary in Hollywood Studios, but that much of it was replaced by items from other shows over the years. I was wondering if anybody had been in there recently and noticed if there was anything from the show there? With the recent series finale, i thought that maybe Disney would have put some of the props back, at least for a while. Maybe there's something on the Backlot Tour...?

Anyway, thanks in advance. I heard there's going to be a big auction for stuff from the show in August, so I'm not really counting on anything being there. Just thought it would be cool.

When we went in December 2009 there was in fact a couple of Lost items on display in the ABC Commissary. However, that is the most recent that I have been. What did you think about the Lost Finale???

My son and I were saying they ought to make a Lost themed ride. Can't you imagine a Forbidden Journey type ride with the Smoke Monster, the others and the Polar Bears all around? Now, THAT would be a fun ride!

I am not a fan of ABC Comm. But I love Lost. I'll have to check it out to see if they still have props.

I only watced the finale once. I think it might be time for a re-watch....

I'm still a Lost Newbie (on Season 5!!!) and I hate ABC Commissary, but I will have to make a trip there to see Lost memorabilia.

We were just there and I looked because I read on the boards somewhere that there were props & such. But alas I found none.

Go back to the AFI store that's way back kind of behind the entrance to the Backlot Tour (you actually go through the store at the end of the tour but you don't have to take the tour to go to the store). If you go back to the Studio Catering Company and go past the rest rooms beyond the Splash Fountain, you'll see the AFI Store. I believe there were some Lost items for sale back there last time. We couldn't get in there over Memorial Day weekend as the store was turned into a Star Wars Weekend thing but you can check it out now to see if there is anything there. This store is where they used to have a ton of Home Improvement things when that show was on.

Dangit, how come I never went to the ABC Comm. any of the three times I've gone? I could have seen LOST props.

I do know that I bought a nice LOST shirt at the Tower of Terror gift shop a couple of years ago, though.

Oh, and I LOVED the finale.

There used to be a lot of Lost logo items at the ToT gift shop -- shirts, hats, and an Oceanic Air carry-on bag. (We bought the bag for my Lost-addicted DS.)

I don't know if any of that is still there.
