Thumbs up Running at Pop Century or nearby

Firstly, hi everyone, I'm Simon, our family of 4 are travelling to pop century 28th April till 13th May this year - just close enough now to be getting excited about it especially as everything appears to now be paid for including the currency! I'm looking forward to spending the next week trawling through here trying to take in as much in the way of tips as we can... :s

Stayed at Port Orleans in '04 (just the two of us back then, which was a good job as hurricane Jeanne blew through in the middle weekend!) and '02 (with friends who wanted to show us the ropes - thanks Mark and Lisa (P.S. If we do it again I'm doing the driving OK?))

Decided we would be spending so little time at the hotel this time round that we would just go budget, not sure POR would have been worth it with a 4 and a 2 year old, not as though we're going to get any peace and quiet anyway...

However, POR had some great running routes. I try to do 3-5k every day, usually early in the morning while the family are still messing about or the wife is on the wii fit or doing some evil Davina workout...

Having just got back into the habit of running every day (nearly) I'm keen to maintain this while at Disney, but the only sensible running route at Pop Century is a bit "car-park oriented" for me!

so I have two questions - I either need some company (anyone staying there who fancies a 6.30am run before it heats up or 8pm run once the kids go to bed?I aim for 5km in 25-30mins when its that humid) or I need a more interesting route close by.

All thoughts and suggestions are welcome!

There is a walking/jogging trail in the Pop Century resort called "Memory Lane." It's the dotted line on this map:

It's a lovely run along the lake. Hope you have a magical trip.

Check out the jogging map here - http://www.disneyrunning.com/joggingtrailpc.html
The long route is 1.38 mile.
