I wanted to plan a 1 night trip to a onsite hotel, yet everytime I try to book it online, it says that I must do a min. of 2 days. Is there anyway around this? How much would each hotel be for one night? Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Try Expedia? Or call reservations instead of trying online. I know for a fact you can stay for just one night.

ok, I'm checking Expedia right now...so far the prices are the same between a one night and a two night.

I called direct last week for a GCH room for just 1 night since I can not get a villa for the last night of the trip and it was no problem. The CM took the time to figure out what would be the best price just for that one night.

Anyone know the prices for each? I think its absurd for asking for 800 dollars for a night (from expedia)

When are you going? With a price like that, I'd imagine it must be peak season. Prices are high, however. Even with my AP, the cheapest room at PPH during my visit in 3 weeks was $284 (now sold out), and they are the cheapest of the resorts. A night at GC during the same time is $450 with my AP discount for a standard room, and according to Expedia, $630 without the discount, but that is for a view room (no standards available).

It probably is for the fact that its in July (July 28th-July 29th) we wanted to make a small birthday trip but if its going to be this much...

Ahh, okay. Just looked up your dates in Expedia. That's because the rate of $745 is for a Concierge Room at Grand Californian, the most expensive on-site property. There is a room at PPH for $400 during that time, but that's still quite expensive. Honestly though, I wouldn't let that prohibit you from making a trip at all! There are great off-site properties, some literally closer than the on-sites, for less than $200 a night, heck, some less than $100 a night!

What about the Disneyland Hotel? I thought the starting rate is round about $280 a night.

well I'm not paying attention now am I? Hmm I'll look into the Disneyland Hotel if its starting at 280...the hojos looks good under 100...but we were trying to aim for onsite as we have never stayed at the on-sites in DLR
