It's a virtual roller coaster

Very much like the one at Disney Quest. It's sponsored by Raytheon, and you essentially design your own coaster, then they apply the program to a simulated coaster, which you climb into, and your ride is truly your own! You can make it as tame or scary as you want. My partner did it and had a great time! Hope this makes sense!

Have fun!

It's essentially this ride but enclosed with a screen in front of you to make you feel like you're riding a rollercoaster or flying a jet etc..You design your ride, how fast, how many loops and corkscrews and even name it.This robotic Kuka arm is what has been rumored to be the main ride going in the new major ride for Harry Potter at Universal, except the arm is likely to be on a track going through different scenes.

There was one person in front of us when we did it.

You create a track. You sit down and a big, hard, hood thing is lowered over your head and you are lifted to "ride" the rollercoaster you created. You watch on a screen inside the hood.

A friend of mine had to bail on this as the hood made her claustrophobic.

Although I like having my legs dangle, I still prefer the one at Disney Quest.

I have no idea how it is that people came up with the idea that you have to be able to do any sort - even basic! - of math to ride it.

I felt it was a waste of time...I wouldnt even attempt unless it has very small line...I am talking only about 20 people ahead of me and thats pushing it...or on a second day at Epcot...I would much rather spend that time on TT or Soarin or drinking my way around WS

so what are the lines like at this ? Is it getting a lot of attention? We usually just skim right through Innoventions if we go in at all. I find it to be a time sucker but we were considering venturing in to try this out.

When we were there in December the line was quite short. Maybe 5 people ahead of us. We thought that it was very cool and would do it again for sure.

It's not even mentioned on the EPCOT park map, regular park visitors who don't visit internet theme park news sites or forums to learn of new attractions would have to go inside Innoventions to find out it even exists. In my opinion it should stay like that,if they actually put it on the park map as an actual attraction the lines would probably become not doable.

My two teens and DH did it the last week of Feb. It was a low crowd day. They went at 6:30 so 30 min before Innoventions closed for the night. The first time was only a 5 min wait to get started. The second time was a walk through. There are 4 simulators, 3 were running that night. My family enjoyed it, thought it was pretty cool.
