Post Princess coronation and storytelling to return to PFF!!

News from mouseplanet I am
so happy to hear this. My girls loved this and I wasn't able to take DGD1 because it's been gone since She's been born

The Royal Coronation and Princess Storytelling shows will be returning to Disneyland's Princess Fantasy Faire for the summer. The tentative dates for

the revival are from some time in June until August 15.

Originally part of the 50th Anniversary “Year of a Million Dreams” promotion, the two shows—though popular—were discontinued to save money.

A cast member shared, "Some TDA managers were giving a tour of the Park to a big honcho. He questioned why the stage was closed. The TDA managers must not have given a very good answer, because we are getting the shows back. But first, the stage must be rehabbed. It has been sitting unused for over a year."

The Entertainment division worker wasn't sure who the "big honcho" was, but speculated it may have been the park president, George Kalogridis, who has been scouring the grounds to identify quick opportunities to increase capacity and alleviate the constant congestion.

Wow this will be great. My girls really liked that show when we went in 2008. Do you have a link to the article?
Thx

I guess the princesses will have a busy schedule. Good to see that stage used for something.

Awesome news. I think i's been such a shame they haven't been utilizing it for so long now.

The "big honcho" would have been Tom Staggs, the underboss of Disney Parks and Resorts, when he made his first official inspection of Disneyland a few weeks ago.

Well this is exciting news, we never took the time to see a show when it was originally shown so hopefully we'll make the effort this July.

Wow, I had no idea they weren't doing that anymore. We saw it when we were there in 2008. We're going again in April, too bad they won't have it going again. I think my daughter would enjoy it much more now that she's a little older.
