Boat from DHS?

Is there a boat from DHS to beach club resort? If so, is it worth going over to have dinner at Cape may??? Really not a fan of TS selection at the studios, but don't have a hopper.

Thanks!

Yes, there is a boat. You can also walk it in about 20 minutes. We prefer to walk unless we're looking to sit down. The boat will stop at the Swan/Dolphin dock first, then Boardwalk, then across to Yacht & Beach Club dock. It takes at least as long as walking.

You could also go to the restaurants at the Boardwalk.
We have been to Cape May for dinner and it is the only place we unanimously want to never go back to. The buffet is set up very inefficiently--one long line around a square, and moves very slow. Many of the foods were not hot or fresh, and the deserts were not great.

Yes there is a boat. I will have to disagree with PP! We went to Cape May for the first time last year and LOVED it!! It is now one of our not to miss buffets! We are staying at Beach Club again and you can bet Cape May is on our list! If you like seafood and meat...you'll love it! Enjoy

We love Cape May for breakfast or dinner.

There is a boat but we find it quicker to walk. If you take the boat you could always get off at the S/D and walk over the bridge and walk to the BC, may save you some time over all the boat stops. As you exit the Studios you will find the boat to the left. If one is just coming in, it will be a quicker time than having to wait for a boat to come, unload, and reload. If you want to walk, then go to the right when exiting the Studios and you will see the trail (there is a sign) just to the left of the tram drop off. The walk will take you past the BW and then around to the BC.

We plan on taking the boat to YC and have lunch at Capt.'s Grille during our DHS day. We'll then take the boat back . Walking may be faster but we can spend a little extra time to give our feet a break.

I agree with this post. Unless a boat is already at the dock and just about ready to pull out when you exit DHS, the walk is faster than the boat. If time is not an issue and/or you aren't up for the walking, the boat ride is very pleasant. And, if you want to save some walking, but also save some time, getting off at the S/D dock and walking from there is a good middle ground.

There is a lake in front of the DHS front gates.
There is only one boat dock (it's on your left as you exit DHS.)
You can't miss it.

Sorry, must agree with those who dislike the Cape May for dinner - one of the poorest excuses for a so-called seafood buffet I've ever experienced and I do not recommend it to anyone - very limited seafood selection and just not worth the $$$. Putting it simply - Cape May as a seafood buffet s**ks.

Want a true seafood buffet?!?!?! - go to the Boston Lobster Feast on I-Drive - Best deal around for the money and a wide selection of seafood items - see their web side for details:
