What Disney park iPhone apps do you use? Any recommendations? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I have the few free apps for Disney parks (park hours and wait times) and the app by VersaEdge with the Disney menus.

I haven't downloaded any of the park map applications because I know my way around the parks well and don't normally need an map to get from point A to point B.

However, one thing that has been a problem is that I'm a smoker and finding those designated smoking areas always seem to be a problem. When the urge hits, I always end up spending a lot more time wandering around, asking directions from a CM or generally trying to remember where I was when I last smoked at whatever park than I do actually smoking.

It occured to me that these park map apps with the GPS might actually be useful in finding a smoking area nearest to wherever I am at any given moment. But, do these apps mark smoking areas as places of interest?

I also considered downloading the e-ticket app, if only for the DISboards access, but not sure if it's worth the $5.99 price tag for something I could just access with Safari.

And, I've looked at some of the park trivia apps. I love park trivia, but it's hard to tell if any of these give you any information worthwhile, or the same sort of general trivia and information that's already pretty widely know.

Any help, reviews or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

I bought eTicket and have used it alot for my planning but we are not going to WDW until next onth so I am not sure howmuch it will help while at the parks.

I als bought Disney Facts and WDW Secrets and have been using them for extra info to put in th book I am making so that I have cool facts and different info to entertain the kids!

One of my friends said that she used one of the ones that tells wait times while she was there last month and it was really helpful but I do not know which one it was yet!

The e- ticket app is awesome! And for btown, it has smoking areas listed. Although it doesn't list all of them for AK. However, there is a map that u can dl off wdwinfo.com that has all of them marked.
