how do you go on rides with a LO with you?

DS #2 will be 11 months when we visit ...

Realistically, can DH, DS #1 (16) and I still go on rides?

Or should I just face it that one of us will be sitting out ...

Disney World is extremely family friendly!! Your lo will be able to go on most of the rides that don't have a height restriction (the biggies, like the Mountains, Everest, ToT, etc.). There are plenty of attractions that you'll be able to enjoy as a family. For the more adventurous rides, use the childswap pass so you won't end up waiting in line for double the time.

I think if you go to Allearsnet.com, there is a link to find out which rides have height restrictions so you can plan accordingly.

Have fun!

Yes.... I rode everything with my little one. The rides that had height restrictions we just did rider swap its amazing how many rides you can ride with a baby in wdw. I had a side sling and mine would sleep in there on rides. She could still fit in the sling at around 14 months( just had to find one that will work) I would go on and get off the rides and she wouldn't miss a beat!

They should be fine...I would practice wearing them around town first so you both can get use to it
I rode everything w/dd in Fantasyland and adventureland, haunted mansion was great she slept thru it! The only rides at mk we didn't ride was SM,BTM,SM...and those I did rider swap. Just go to the line where the cast member stands tell them you need to rider swap trhey will give you a ticket. the rest of the family rides then when they come off someone will stay w/ the baby and then you all get to ride again thru fastpass line!
Epcot..rode everything but TT,Soarin, just did rider swAP FOR THOSE. she rode Malstrom and the mexico too.
DHS everything except..TOT, RR, Star tours
Ak..yes she rode the safari..everything except dinosaur,EE, Kali river rapids

I can't remember the name of my sling but all it is was like this piece of fabric that went cross way and she could sit right on my hip and if she fell asleep i could pull the fabric up and was like a little papoos. I don't know but it was great!

thats great! DH doesnt do some of the more thrilling rides ... so we should only need a few rider swaps! i didnt realize you could bring LO on so many things ...

do you just leave the stroller at the entrance and but them in the carrier?

When you go to the rides the little one can't go on ask the CM for a "rider swap" ticket.
First DS and 1 parent will go on the ride. When that ride is over then you have the rider swap ticket that basically acts as a fast pass for the person who did not go on plus 2 others to ride again without waiting in line all over (usually you go through the fastpass line bust sometimes you go back through the exit and present the CM with your Rider Swap ticket). The nice thing for your 16yo is it bascially doubles the times your DS can go on rides with low wait times.

There is stroller parking for your stroller. Sometimes the CM's move them around---so don't be alarmed if it isn't right where you left it. Just look in the vicinity and you'll find it nearby. We've been going to Disney since our dd was a little baby. We went on most things with her in the snuggly or just in our arms---no problem.

Although I admit that sometimes I enjoyed just sitting with her taking a break while my dh and older dd went on things. There are a few playground areas near the more adventurous rides where we would hang-out once she was a toddler.....or we would browse the shops.

It depends on the park..there are areas that you are suppose to leave your stroller at, so I would park stroller and just cary baby on. If she wanted to be held or I knew we would be riding alot i would go ahead and put her in sling and keep her there so I wouldn't have to change her around so much. If she is awake and no sign of a nap when you are in Fantasyland she carry her on. I would keep the sling on just about the whole time espeacially if we were standing a line and wanted to be held to keep from getting tired of just holding her. It would easily fit in my back if I wanted to take it off. I was still nursing her then too and she would just nurse, sleep, and ride! I think she had it made myself!

I'm taking my 5, 4, and 18 mo (at time of travel next year) and I think we can take the baby on almost everything that the other ones would like to go on. have fun.
