If your statement generates while you're at WDW, you can always transfer your points to your rewards card while there. We did it last December using our laptop, but of course you can also just call the number on your card and the new dollars will be transferred immediately.

My statement just closed yesterday (or the day before), and I did not get my bonus rewards yet (from the Oct-Nov-Dec promo). I did spend over my threshhold, so I will just be patient that they will show up.

Thanks. Mine cuts near the end of the month and in the past I've received the previous month bonus then. I guess I'll have to wait and see! We just booked the WL with a PIN for the beginning of Feb and I hope I have them by then!

We still haven't seen our bonus dollars from September. I'm hoping they'll show up on our statement when it generates next week.

That's a long time; I guess I have been lucky in the past promotions. I always received the bonus portion on the next month's statement. Granted, my statement cuts on the 26th of the month. I guess I'll know for sure next week if I receive the Oct. bonus. I'm hoping to receive my bonus before going in early Feb. My bonus is $200 not the previous max. bonus of $100 and I'm making sure to put enough on the charge to earn them!! ($84 bonus from Oct is already earned) We were lucky enough to have the bonus on all purchases as well as a low threshold of $250!

Ours has always seemed to show up the next month as well (our statement generates on the 24th). I suppose this means I should make a phone call to Chase's horrible "customer service" line and try to figure out what happened to the bonus dollars if they don't show up next week.

I hate calling them. They deducted bonus dollars once when they shouldn't have and the rep couldn't have been nastier to me ("Let me see if I can explain this in a very simple way that might possibly make you understand" ... that sort of thing) . He even put me on hold when I asked for a supervisor and never came back. Interestingly enough, the missing dollars were back in my account the next day. Idiots. Maybe I'll make my dh call and deal with them.

HOpe we get them!! SOmetimes I get a good rep there sometimes not so nice. I did have a problem with the refer a friend $25 disney dollars bonus one time, never with the 5 times bonus.

Okay, so the bonus dollars from September didn't show up on our statement this month either. Dh is on the phone with Chase right now and they're insisting we didn't meet the threshold, even though we clearly did. Our threshold was $750 and we spent more than that in gas alone. Plus, we had several $100+ meals while we were at WDW in Sept. that we paid for with our cc.

So now we have to wait 7-10 days and hope for a letter from the "marketing department" after they look into it. I foresee another call to Chase in 7-10 days to argue with them about why they still aren't crediting us.

Oh, and in case not everyone's aware, "fast food" places such as Wendy's, McDonald's, etc. do NOT count as dining. But Panera, whose service is the same as the other "order and wait for your food at the counter" places, IS considered dining. Go figure.

I hate Chase.

Well, my stmt cut on the 26th and I didn't receive the bonus for Oct.(always received the bonus for the previous month on the next as well) Called Disney Visa and got a nasty CM (not very often have I gotten one) She started to try to sell the credit card protetion and I said I wasn't interested, no have a magical date or even good bye! All I had was a disconnection! Anyone else have any luck with getting the bonus?

Maybe others do this, but here's our way to max out the 5x bonus rewards. In Aug we got the groceries and dining out promo, so we went to our grocery stores and bought gift cards for the places we go including those grocery stores now we have the 5x rewards for everything and we did the same so we spent the $5500 in one month to max out our rewards points in one shot. Now this is only good if you pay it all off of course, but it has helped us rack up 300 extra rewards dollars between Aug and now of this year!

I think this has been asked before, but everyone gets these 5X notifications from either a postcard or an email right? No one has had success calling and asking?

Yes, we've done that with gas cards several times in the past and it's worked well. However, as I posted above, we did it in September (and then spent over and above as well) but they're not giving us our bonus dollars as of yet. We're having to fight for them, and knowing Chase, we're likely not to get them.
