Newbie
Hi Everyone,
I'm a newbie, too! I'm so psyched about our FINALLY booked WDW trip for August 2010!!! This has really been the "will we? or won't we?" trip planning. We FINALLY got a 40% pin code for the dates we wanted to go and booked our trip at WL. This is such a dream come true for me as I fell in love with WDW during my first trip in 1982. Finally went back with my dh in 2005, only for 1 day at MK. We've never stayed onsite and our girls have never been. So, 7 days at WL and dd (9), dd(4)'s first visit will hopefully be truly magical. So nice to be here amongst others who understand why I love WDW so very much!!

I am new to Disboards and am planning a trip or march with my family. Just inquiring what the 40% code is in reference too. There are 9 of us going so if there is a way for us to save money that is always helpful. Thanks.

Tara, a pin code is a special pin # attached to a deal that Disney sends out randomly via email. It comes across as the sender being Disney Destinations. Pin Code offers change all the time but the offers are usually pretty awesome. No one really knows why or how different emails are chosen but what I did to receive them is sign up on Disney's website and their Disney store website to receive emails and newsletters and such. I have been getting the pin codes for about a year now. I also went onto their website several times and to price vacation packages, went through the motions as I was going to book one but at the bottom of the offer, instead of hitting the "Book Now" button, I hit the "Save for Later" button and saved several possible packages that way. Lo and Behold, I started getting pin codes referencing my "saved vacation packages" and dates. Good luck, Enjoy your trip and I hope you get a pin too!
