I spoke with my DH last night about the Diva's Doing Disney, and he was so supportive (actually, I think he was a little relieved that I might get a Dis fix without having to be dragged along! ) So now it's just up to me.

I just love the idea of meeting new friends that have my major affection (or should I say "infliction") in common...though at the same time, a little scarey and very out-of-character to do something like this.

I'm in the middle of an inspection at work right now, so things have been rather wild...I'm going to have to wait till things calm down before I make any decisions. But I didn't want you guys to think I just came to this thread on a whim and then forgot about it.

I hope you all have a "Magical Day", as they say at Disney. I really look forward to getting to know you all better

Kelly
I just wanted you to know that I went through the same thing in 2006 when we had the Ladies Only Trip to WDW.

My dh was like yours he told me to go if I wanted to and I did. I am normally very shy and am not one to do something like this but boy am I glad that I did. I had a blast and made some great friends.

Now I am going to go all the way across the country to have my first DL trip. I expect to have as much fun this time as I did the last.

So please join us.

Well if she is able to do that, it might just be an option for me. I'm still going to look around.

We'd never forget you!!! Silly goose. Congrats on the new car! When are you gonna pick me up and take me for a spin??
And I'm sorry to hear about Ty troubles continuing. I wish I had some advice for you, but I guess we were extremely lucky. None of my kids ever bit or were bitten. Good luck!

I totally forgot you all had the daycare first! I always think of you as the "Chef" now.

Ah, but see that's the best way to do it! You get to bake, sample a piece and pass it all on before you eat it all. Why do you think I am always sending stuff into Ruben's work???
The fall retreat sounds nice. I'm glad you signed up for it.

Hopefully they figure him out and dump him quick! And what do you think of SHAMBO! LOL. She annoys me too!
Nice eye candy this time!! I really dislike Russell, but as you said, most likely he will stick around for awhile. It's hard to get a real feel for anyone this early on. So many players in the beginning. And some only get a little bit of air time.

Exactly! If not for these trips, both WDW and DL, there are so many amazing friends that most likely I never would have met. And I am so grateful to have them all in my life.

Have a great day everyone!!!!!

Good morning!
It's Friday!

I'm going exchange hunting this afternoon. I'm hoping the stores brought out more cute stuff because they were lacking last week.

I'm so happy for the meet tomorrow I plan on being there at rope drop merely because I haven't in a long time. The park opens at 8am, what time does the parking garage open? Ooo, that reminds me I need to go grocery shopping today as well as snack shopping for the park. I can't believe how much money I save by doing it. At Wal-mart it costs me the same to buy a 6 pack of coke as it does for ONE bottle at Disneyland. Simply outrageous but what can you do?

I have a rumbly in my tumbly so I'm off to have breakfast.

I think at the last major board upgrade, some coding may have been missed for some of the boards, including our Disneyland boards, and so we don't see that color pallette. I sent an email to webmasteralex, but so far no go here.

How about some rhinestones? At one time I had asked my son to design something for me, and then we decided on Tink last year. Anywhos, just throwing out ideas.
I like these ideas

I added the t-shirt colors next to the day to make it easier. Oh, and I say t-shirt but really it can be anything in that color. Sweatshirt, sweater, tee, tank, whatever depending on your style and the weather.

SCHEDULE

Thursday (lime green tee)
Arrival day ~ All arriving at various times
Those arriving in time for lunch, meet for a counter service lunch at the Rancho del Zocalo patio followed by group ride on Pirates (time TBD)
Dinner will be at the Meet and Greet like last time.

Friday (red tee)
Princess Fantasy Faire followed by group ride on Small World (wear your tiaras)
Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour
Lunch: Ariel's Princess lunch (don't forget to wear your tiaras for this too!)
Dinner: Carnation Cafe

Saturday (new group tee)
Scavenger Hunt followed by group ride on the train
Late Lunch: Cafe Orleans (and Club 33 for a lucky few thanks to Heather!!)
Dinner: Napa Rose OR a counter service in the park OR a DTD restaurant

Sunday (tie dye tee)
Segway Tour
House of Blues Gospel Brunch??
Cove Bar for drinks followed by a group drawing at the Animation Station

Monday (last years Tink tee or plain white tee)
Breakfast: Steakhouse 55???
Lunch: Wine Country Trattoria followed by a group ride on Soarin
Blue Bayou for dessert in the evening

Tuesday (blue tee)
Departure Day
Farewell Breakfast: Mimi's Cafe
I like all these, including the red shirt idea. I didn't get a Tink tee last year and would really like one. Does anyone still have the link to order them?

I was sitting at a red light getting ready to make a right turn and it was NOT clear. Not to mention the ONLY ticket I have ever gotten in my life (which I JUST got this past year) was for turning on red. The cop said I didn't stop but I did but anyway I got a ticket and it was 500!!! So needless to say ever since I have been VERY cautious about turning and I always make VERY sure it is clear and that I have stopped the necessary amount of time. Well this IDIOT behind me came FLYING up on my bumper and then when I didn't go IMMEDIATELY he starts honking. Well of course I ignored him cuz I COULDN'T go and then when it was clear I DID go and then he flies up next to me and then slows down and rolls down his window and starts SCREAMING at me. I was like whatever dude. So then I slow down and HE slows down. So I speed up and same thing. He then starts weaving into my lane like he is going to hit me. I am like WHAT is your gig you idiot! First you expect me to pull out in FRONT of oncoming traffic ON a red light and then you get mad at me when I don't. Then you start SCREAMING at me. You crazy lunatic. So I put my phone up to my ear and motioned to him that I was calling the cops and then he really starts coming at me. I started freaking out cuz I was afraid he was going to follow me into the restaurant parking lot but luckily he didn't. IF he would have slowed down or pulled up enough for me to get his license number I WOULD have called the cops on him but I never was able to. SHEESH!
Kelly, that is a pretty scary experience. Someone did something like that to me once, and I remembered how afraid that he would really hurt me. I'm glad that you're okay.

I like long shirts. If I have one that's on the shorter side I'll wear a longer one under it that's a different color.

Good for you Cristabel. I always bring in one soda bottle with me to cut down on costs.

Mary Jo, this is the image that was used: http://www.zazzle.com/collections/di...&paging_page=2
Try looking at some of the old trip pics to see what wording and font color was used because I no longer have that info.
Also if you like that tie dye Mickey but cannot wear a longer shirt, you can send in a tee to the lady that is making them and she will use whatever tee you prefer.

Etsy is a website which provides small business entrepreneurs with a way to buy and sell handmade items, including art, photography, clothing ...and tye die Mickey shirts!
Cassie is one of the sellers on said website who will customize a tee for you.
