You're doing 50's PTC twice?! I've never been but I really have no desire to go. But seeing as you are doing it two times in the same short trip makes me wonder...Oh NO not another decision to make!!! LOL!

All the other choices look yummy. I've never done Ohana for breakfast but it is my favorite dinner of all time

No no haha. I made my list of ADRs if we were on a DDP and not and not using a coupon and paying full price so if I don't have any discounts we'll go for lunch and not do Artist Point and if we are, we'll do 50s for dinner so I'm being bad and double booking but will for sure cancel by mid October once I get my holiday package!

but it is very good although my dad calls it "expensive food you can get at a cracker barrel!"

I know, we were able to add on the CM DDP last year but with free dining this year, I doubt they will although they would make money but they will also make money by paying full price for meals too We shall see!!!

WELL!!!!

It's that time of the night, nearly 10:30pm and it is time for me to head to bed!

I have all my ADRs in order and a plan of attack!:
-Get up at 5:50am
-Get computer up and running
-Sign onto CM site and get the dining page loaded
-At 6 on the dot, put in ressie number and begin to book!

I'll only be able to book my 50s for on the 11th due to the split stay but I'll go back to sleep and get up at 7 and call.

Hopefully the CM will be able to override the split stay and link the ressies to book the rest if not, I'll head back to bed and do it all again on Saturday!

Well, that is it for now! I hope to have sweet ADR dreams and prepare for the morning (good thing I don't work until 12:30!!!).

YAY FOR ADR DAY!!!!

Well, there is not much to say other than let me tell you what all happened!

So when I left off, it was 10:30 and I was heading to bed by 10:50 for 7 hours of sleep! I tossed and turned and looked at the clock and it said 11:15 so I was like why fight it, it's Friday, it's ADR day, and I don't work until 12:30 so I turned on Food Network. I turned it off at 11:50 and tried to go back to sleep and toss and turned again and looked at the clock and it said 1am so eventually I fell asleep and woke up at 5:45

I wasted some time and got all prepared with my CM site and just thought I'd look and the dates were already posted!!!
So I made my attempt:
Put in my Ressie number for YC and BOOOOOM!!! I could book from the 10-20th!! So I went on a mission to book EVERYTHING except CLP and my results:

12/11: 50s PTC: Wanted: 5:30 Got: 5:30:
12/13: Plaza: Wanted: 4:15 Got 4:15 :
12/13: Crystal Palace: Wanted: 3 Got: 3:15 :
(new ADR added, reason why coming up)
12/14: 50s PTC: Wanted: 1:30 Got: 1:30 :
12/14: Artist Point: Wanted: 5:30 Got: 5:35 :
12/15: Ohana: Wanted: 10am Got: 10:10am :
~We added CP because I forgot I get another day of my main gate with my Xmas package so we might head to MK for the day assuming the weather is too cold to do pool activities and so I thought why not book CP for lunch and use my 1/2 off coupon for that!
~50s is double booked assuming that if ALL of my discounts are blocked we will pay OOP and go for lunch and also cancel AP, CP, and Plaza.

So after I booked all those, I laid back down and got back up for 7 and dialed my CM number to book CLP. I got on the phone (with no wait) a CM who I could hardly hear at all! I gave her my ressie number and she asks what day I want CLP and I say 12/12 and she says "MA'AM, we can ONLY book for the 10-11th based on your one night stay. YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE 12TH TO BOOK THIS." I try to explain that I booked everything online for the week and she says back to me "MA'AM I'M 110% SURE YOU CAN'T BOOK THIS BASED ON YOUR ONE NIGHT STAY." once again I explain to her about being able to book 10 days out online and she says "WELL THEN BOOK CLP ONLINE THEN IF YOU CAN BOOK EVERYTHING ELSE." I explain to her again that you can't book CLP online you have to do it through the phone. I thank the horrid woman for her time and hang up.

Of course you can't book CLP online but I booked Nine Dragons anyways and then thought forget the CM line I'll call wdw-dine and talk to them and called with a wait time of 30 mins

It ended up being 20 mins or so and got a VERY NICE male CM who was more than happy to help me and I explained the horrid woman and he was very apologetic and put in the ressie number and BOOOM!! He put in the dates and wow, it worked! Female CM Male CM I said I wanted the 6:45 show and I got a dinner time at 3 I also had the CM cancel the 9 Dragons I booked online and had him confirm one of the other ones I booked online and they all check out!
I received my email with all my ADR numbers and printed it out!!


So well, a rocky start to the morning turned out all good and I was so excited I got dressed and went to the local LA Fitness for the step/sculpt class so I'm sure I'll crash by 6:30 tonight but it's worth it! :

The only one I was eh with was Ohana. I'm thinking I might look for a 9:45 or just show up 15 mins early and see if we can get in early but other than that, I can't complain!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the great ADR's! You got most right at the time you wanted! Good heads up thinking to call back and get another CM!!! Sometimes the CM's on that line are not fully informed I think...or they sleep through training!! But, when you call and get a great CM, it makes up for those times that you get the not so hot ones!!!

Thanks!! I've actually had rude CMs on the CM line before. I just don't get it, I'm in the same boat as you I realize but geez, she didn't even try!!

I know that on the regular line you can get a few not nice ones as well but I was very lucky and happy everything worked out!

Oh I know the horrors of some people and I feel horrible! Of course I'll put a post of with the ones we don't keep because I'm sure some people would love to have 50s for lunch or dinner depending on the one we keep not to mention Crystal Palace for sure!

Thanks! I was very lucky. The only times he gave me for that day were 4:00 and 3:15 for the 6:45 show!!!

HI DIS!!!!

It's been several days since I've posted so I figured I'd take the time to update a few things that have gone on in the past few days!!

The weekend was a tad uneventful. I've been thinking about my ADRs and even Dd mentioned : 50s?! I thought we were eating at Mama Melrose Well it is what it is, everyone agreed on 50s and so ya we're sticking with that as far as I know haha.

NEW LUGGAGE!!!!


As I said in a few posts ago, I ordered new luggage from disneystore.com. I don't have pics of it yet because I had it shipped to the house in PA and haven't been home to see it but if you are lurking on that site, it's the blue 2 piece luggage. My travel toiletry bag arrived a few days after since it needed to be personalized. I can't wait to go home and see everything!!

A few years ago I had been DYING to have a set of pink luggage from American Torister (sp?) and got it for my birthday. Well it was all great and such until our first trip to WDW via airplane and it came off the luggage belt covered more in black than in pink Thus making me realize at that point--hot pink luggage can get VERY dirty with airline travel!! Not only that but the spikes at the bottom that hold the bag off have broken, one on each of the 2 bags. I'm curious to see how well these bags from disney hold up!!!!!

Nightmare Disney Style:

Along with my weekend came the nightmare that I would never wish for! It was 12/11 and we're at the gate at AK ready to go in and I give the CM my ID and main gate pass and my ID scans back denied and we can't get in because my ID has been shut off due to inactive work You ask, how could we check into the hotel...they don't scan your ID when you check in, they simply look at the year and apply the discount and you pay the remaining balance.
I woke up around 1am and immediately got on Facebook and sent messages to 2 girls I worked with, a core team member, and emailed my former manager to see if that could happen.
By 8am I had gotten my responses and my ID is good till 12/31
Talk about a close call!!!!

THOSE DARN ADRS!!!!!

Well, everyone has experienced the horror of online ADRs. Well, I was thinking I was pretty much gold..I got the times I wanted on the days I wanted and based on last years holiday discount I should be good to go, or so I thought..............
A former CM roomie sent me a message on facebook saying that she was booking her ADRs for Oct and wanted to know if I knew of the new CM system for booking ADRs. I wrote back telling her I knew of them and got all mine for Dec and she writes back saying "NO I MEAN WE CAN'T JUST BOOK AND GO WHAT TIME WE WANT TO GO IT HAS TO SAY THE DISCOUNT IN BLUE WHEN YOU BOOK ONLINE OR YOU CAN'T USE THE DISCOUNT."

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!
So I go online this morning and play around with the ADRs and my 20% off and everything seems to be blocked. Okay and the new holiday discount didn't come out yet so that means I MIGHT HAVE TO CANCEL AND REBOOK MY ADRS IN ORDER FOR IT TO SAY 50% DISCOUNT
I then called my cast line to verify and got a CM--clearly has not been trained on this and said, no, no change you can dine when you want with your 20% off...WRONG...I contacted a friend who works Concerg. at WDW hotels and she confirmed in order to use a dining discount it has to be booked saying the discount or you can't use it. So life being easy and putting in your ID with your form of payment at the end of the meal is no longer easy. I guess when you check in it says in the computer now that you are eligible for the discount and they have cut back the number of ADRs a day for CMs She also said some managers will let you just have the 20% discount where as others are more strict.

Bottom Line: I'll wait till the holiday package comes out and if I have to rebook I'll try. It's really for 2 of my ADRs: Artist Point and Dinner at 50s so we'll see....
I knew it was too good to be true!!!


Well I'm done ranting for the night...for now we'll just wait and see what happens with the ADRs if anything we'll pay OOP for 50s lunch, CLP dinner package, and Ohana breakfast. My 20% off will be good at Roaring Forks CS at WL so we'll be eating there a lot to save a few bucks!!!
