Alrighty, I'll be there! I hope the weather will be more cooperative and not try to make me pass out. Today is a real hot one over here. I plan on hibernating in my room for today...but I still have to go grocery shopping!At least the grocery store is air-conditioned!

I have a lot of catch up reading to do, but wanted to at least stop by and say hello ..and that my thoughts are with everyone who is going through a stressful time or not feeling well.

I am very glad it is Friday!!! Now, if only I had something to do over the weekend. I need a life.

The family van (Toyota Sienna) is 9.5 years old (same age as Anais) and has a lot of mileage. I don't have the specifics but within these past 9.5 years we have driven to New Mexico, several trips to San Francisco, down to Murrieta, San Diego and of course multiple trips to Lancaster. Then there are the daily trips in our valley. It's just starting to have problems and my dad wants to get my mom a new car but she's very picky about it. She wants something with height because a regular sedan is too low.

My car is a 1994 Honda Accord and it has nearly 127K miles on it. We bought it two years ago from the original owner who bought it was all the bells and whistles in 1994. He also took it to the dealer for maintenance. But of course now that I have it, it decides to go crazy.

But yes, ladies, please enjoy your weekends. I know I will...I'll be here on the DIS , watching movies/tv and doing homework. Oh and I'm going to Disneyland on Sunday

Yay for Friday!

I got to leave work early today because Ty was having a rough day and used up his three strikes at school today. So, I spent my afternoon researching to buy a new "used" car. Dave's is on it's last legs and in true gentlemanly fashion he has offered to take my car as a handme down and I get the "new" one. Right now I'm leaning towards a Saturn Vue Hybrid. I found one that's in LA and they are transferring it to Las Vegas for me to test drive, so wish me luck!

Last night Ty started gymnastics classes and although I missed it due to work commitments, Dave took lots of pictures for me. It looks like he had lots of fun and I can't wait to see it in person next week.

I'm feeling anti-social and have a stomach ache as well. I just felt like being lazy, so I put on 13 Going on 30. There was a Crusade for Christ get together tonight but I just didn't feel up to it.

Anyways, I've always been into staying in rather than going out. I like having friends over and playing games or watching movies together.
