She tried, all I can say is she tried! I ended up making one as well- my first ever cootie catcher may I add! I will have her try to write down the instructions later. She has open house at school in the morning and is kinda against anything school like at the moment. Who knows why? She loves school! Go figure! She is also making them some other surprises! She loves craft making! Hope to finish soon.... but who knows with her.. She tries so hard to make it perfect.

I know it will all be just wonderful. It is coming from her heart and that makes it perfect!!! That is exactly what we will see when we get the BIG GIVE. It a beautiful little girl with a beautiful heart. Her handwriting will be just fine and might just look like my son's. We are also headed to open house tonight. So please tell her we wish her the best for her new school year. Also tell her I am so very proud of her because she is giving so much to my child. She already has been such a blessing to my family!!! And we know it will be perfect, again because it comes from her heart. There is no better gift than one from the heart!!!!!

I was so glad that I finally figured it out. I knew that I was following the steps that Maroo had posted but somehow my computer had a setting that everything would be saved thumbnail now that I turned off that feature hopefully that will be taken care of .

We are so excited about the party!!!! And finally knowing when we are leaving. Thank you for prayers and good thoughts. That is what has given me the strenght for each day!!!

Do you folks get Louisville or Nashville news stations? I was watching WKRN (Channel 2 on Comcast..201 digital) and there was a "teaser" about how someone had taken advantage of someone going on a wish trip!!! I am going to try to catch it, but I have a special event to work at the store tonight and I may miss it...I can not imagine what people would do ...but then there are some crazy people out there!

Hope your week is going well...I can not believe that August is here and we have started schools already!

We get some of our news from Nashville. I will have to check that out (if we get that channel) or I will try to get on line with their station and wwatch that. I am like you I can not believe people would do that.


Yes our school starts next week. The boys are very excited about it. We have had a great week. We got to meet with our MAW volunteer and we are starting to make plans. So excited ! Four weeks from tonight we will be in Nashville. We are planning on going down the night before. We thought it might be easier on the boys that way.

I got to see the news that you were talking about. It ended up being a family on their MAW trip and 5 teens found out about it and broke into their home and was robbing them. But a neighbor was keeping a close eye out for them and called the police. So they were able to get them. But how scary is that. It really makes you think. We are are so excited about our trip and we live in small town USA and everyone know that we are going and when. I told my husband we may need to rethink somethings about annoucing our trip. This maybe a warning to other wish families. I will be PM you

Nashville is only 2 hours away for us and Louisville is about 3 1/2 hours so we picked to fly out of Nashville. So Nashville was it!! How thoughtful of you to think of us and come to see us off. That would of been awesome!!!!

Thank you VroomVroom Lightning so much for the wonderful blankets and treasures. As you can see from the pic above Lucas is very excited about his blanket. He could not wait to wrap himself up in it. We have one that was given as a family gift. Both boys love it and they tend to fight over it. So it was so wonderful that they have their own blankets. Lucas first reaction was "they are so soft and smell so fresh". He stayed all cuddled up in it today. Also he has been sick to his stomach tonight and he is finally asleep and is cuddled up with his new blanket. So it is already given him comfort. Also little brother loved his too. He had a little accident today and his face is strached up pretty bad (glad I got the picture first) and he put his under his face and said it was so soft to his boo boo. So they are already comforting both boys. They said they are having breakfast with Tigger and will make sure to say hi for you. Thank you so much. They were wonderful!!!!

Here are two more pics of the boys. The boys are just amazed how everyone knows their favorites. They loved the pez and the parachute men. They keep asking how do they do that. Thank you so much!

My nephew sleeps with his one I made him everynight too. And whenever he has a boo boo he goes right for the blanket and his special pillow. I love how kids can melt your heart with the simplest things they do. I hope Lucas is feeling better and that he wakes up feeling better.

All the wonderful Big Give Presents you have been given. You would think that your trip is just around the cornor. Wait a second, it is.

I love to see the boys faces with their speciel presents. Everyday I see that there is a new post on your PTR I rush right over in hopes of seeing more great pics of the creative things they are giving them.

I had to share one more story with you. When little brother woke up this morning I was concerned how bad his face would look. Itwas so swollen yesterday. But it looked so much better today. I told him I was surprised and he said it was because I slept on my special blanket . I thought you might enjoy that .

We feel so blessed with all of the Big Give presents that we have received. I wish I could capture the expressions on their faces. Watching Lucas carry in that box yesterday was priceless.

I know can you belive we are about 4 weeks before we leave. But that means it is even closer for you!!!!

This has been an incredible journey so far and I am glad you have came along for the ride. That's makes this journey even more special.

Another wonderful Big Give. But today it was for little brother. This is was so exciting for him. The outfit was wonderful. It fit him perfectly. He really loved the outfit!!!
