Very nice! I would do the dning plan. The last time we went, it was during the Food & Wine Fest, and we used all our snack credits there.

I am not doing any tours either.

I will go to NR, I haven't been there yet. Other than that just people watching, riding rides, having a glass or bottle of Magicale. I will be buying a bottle to bring one home.

I was really hoping we could plan a movie night and order in chinese food or pizza or something fun.

Does anyone else bring things to eat in the room? We always do. I like having breakfast in the room each day. Then we have lunch and dinner at the park with snacks in the room later that night.

I bring cheeses and crackers with deli meats for the snacks. Usually homemade cookies and we had the great candy from mixer night candy bar last year!

I hope we do the candy bar again..that was alot of fun!

You all just reminded me about the scavenger hunt, I haven't thought about it in awhile. I have a little list of clues already made up, but there's still a long ways to go on it. Too bad I can't meet up with my fellow committee members in October to work on it. *sigh* poor me (and Beth and Deb for not getting to go either in October).

Yup, WDW!! And I had a Beth-kind of day today: had a biopsy done on a nodule that's on my thyroid, had blood taken to check my hormones and had my teeth cleaned! What fun!!

That's what I was thinking about F & W. And yes, my October will be very Disney!!

As for DVC, my hubby is completely against it. We already own a timeshare, which we got resale for VERY cheap! So he doesn't understand paying so much more, even resale, for DVC. AND it's hard to justify with 2 kids in college, and he says "We don't go to Florida that much anyways..." Yes, I would like SSR, just for the fact that when we do go to Florida, we'd have someplace nice to stay. I thought about the GC but it costs more, not out for resale yet, and we can stay pretty cheap at Hojo's or another close hotel. And the fact that they've broken ground in Hawaii is another good incentive!!

Okay. Wait, I'm confused. So the night of the group character dinner at Goofy's some of you are going to Napa Rose? I thought that was going to be our one group meal that we voted on? Or do you mean some of you are going to NR after for dessert?

If there are going to be different groups going to different meals that night, then I'll probably skip Goofy's and go to House of Blues or something. I'm not a huge fan of Goofy's and was only going to go because I thought that's what the group voted on, and that was going to be our one big group meal.

I roomed with Beth and January last year......you know, the room that was more like a convenience store.

Yep, others definitely bring stuff to eat and drink in the room. Now that I think back on it, I can't remember if I payed Beth back for buying the snacks and my oh-so-important Diet Pepsi? Gee, I hope I remembered to do that.

theresa.. me too! i bought stuff to make individual candy bags like last year... i haven't bought candy yet,of course ..i've just found pirate suprises to go with the candy. can't tell how happy i am about the trip. and if they don't do a candy bar.. oh well then we have little treats.

I understand that many of you have done tours already, I'm a newbie and will be happy with any tour since it will be my only trip without kids for quite awhile. Any other newbies have ideas on tours you may want to do?

I see that a few of you are ride wimps, who will go on the thrill rides with me?

It's a little early for planning but anything you need help with just let me know!

And I'll hold anyone's hand, and go on any ride. Oh.........except the evil gondolas!! My DD Kaitlyn hates that ride. Said it is the scariest one, she has ever been on. That was enough of a clue for me!!
