Thinking for our trip maybe in 2011. - The DIS Discussion Forums

It is a long way from now, and I swore I would not come on these boards until next year....

I couldnt do it! It is so addicating, anyone else feel like that when you just get home??

I hope to go in 2011, but could be 2012. I am debating on going over Thanksgiving, or spring break (end of march). We just got back and it was so hot, that i think it maybe more enjoyable then. Our family spends more time at the pool rather than the parks. My boys love the water and the slides. So my question, can we swim comfortably end of Nov or end of March? I know the pools are heated, but what about the outside air?

We went the second week in March last time and are going the first week of March 2010. The weather was perfect IMHO. Days ranged from about 78 to about 85 degrees, the nights we were in shorts and sweatshirts. The kids swam and were never alone in the pool but it wasn't crazy crowded either. The spring break crowds scare us so we try to aim for just shy of the full-on spring break season.

Thanks ! I am still not sure when we will go again, but i am thinking Thanksgiving or the last week of March. My husband is a teacher, so we are limited in when we can go.

I felt like that too.

We went last August & I avoided the boards for a little while.

But I have found my way back here. I don't have a trip planned at the moment. But I do plan to go back in 2012.

It seems so far away but I am glad I can finally say 3 years vs 2 & in 2 years I can make my reservations.

I am trying to read as much as I can & take in all I can for our next trip. My kids will be older so it will be a bit easier (the youngest will be 6) so I will slowly be getting back to the days of the E ticket rides (I am excited!).

My neice wants to come which means my sister will come. My parents want to come (they will be 75 so I hope they can). My (hopefully) future SIL wants to come with my BIL.

I figure I have 3 years to save for the 2 weeks I want to go.

I am hoping to go August 2011 with 2 of my 3 daughters (oldest DD has band camp and hubby will stay home to hold the fort.) We are planning a trip for next June as well for our anniversary, but I wanted to plan one for 2011 as well. I decided to go back to school to finish my undergraduate degree and it gets harder and harder to coordinate times with teenagers, girls scout and band camps...etc! So I just jumped in and basically stated to my DH my great plans!

His response,"Yes, my queen.)

He's such a good guy.

To top it off I have never been to WDW so I am having trouble containing my planning jitters.

March is nicer weather than August IMHO.
