I never did find it - I had never heard of them moving a family to another resort, so I was thinking more along the line of one of the suites at CSR. I'll keep the "secret" quiet... I think CP might have something similar up her sleeve...

That is SO great about getting rack rate credit!!!!!!!!!! That's like $300 isn't it???! And other credits? AWESOME! I'm so excited to read about them all!

Yep, someday we will stay at BLT-when it's inital popularity has worn off and we can get it at 7 months. I wish their rooms were the same as the main hotel though, I think the main hotel is prettier, but I do like BLT too-and the monorail with small kid(s)....I think I would LOVE that.

Arrival Day, June 16th part 2

Where was I? Oh that is right we had just checked into the CONTEMPORARY! I figured right away we were headed to a garden view room. I think over the past nine years I have priced out those rooms, hoping for a steal, and now they were paying me to stay in one!

So we listened to the directions and headed out towards the pool. I think the girls wanted to jump in right away.... and then down some long corridors, to our room.

Here are some pics I snapped quickly, but know that my girls had SWIM on the must do!









Our view was of Bay Lake (and yes we could see the water parade from it). I loved being on the ground floor with the patio, it came in handy the next morning... and we meet some friends out there too!

We hurried to get in our swimsuits, and were off to the pool. My thought was dip for Luke and then he would nap poolside (hey a mom can wish right). We hoped to swim a few hours before going to DTD. We also hoped to see the Water Parade that night, since it was on the great page of activities that the Contemporary had! We saw lots to do tomorrow... my girls were ready!

Along the way we called and told my parents...we somewhat screwed up the plans for the next night. My parents had planned to unload at CSR when they got to the World, since they were staying at a deal off site for the night. Then we decided they would meet us at the Contemporary and unload some stuff with us, since we could have it moved back to CSR (remember this.... we tried to make our move easy on us)

I snapped some pics of our walk to the pool....

I am uploading a ton of pics for the next update (I snapped away like crazy!)... so I hope to get it up tomorrow. Then this week is a bit crazy, we have some friends and family in and well, we have to get back to reality!

wow.....so cool that you got moved to CR! it's not my dream resort or anything but i'd jump at the chance to stay there a couple of nights just to experience it. that kids check-in is so cute! can't wait to see how it all turns out!
