Life is what happens in between trips to WDW
Those "flying cookies" flying through space can be seen
I'm hoping that the little guy likes them!

I love the idea of celebrating 30 days. I need to do something special for my daughter to celebrate. Today is the last day of school and tomorrow is our 30 day mark. I'm thinking some shopping!

Congratulations on the good job at the concert! Times like that are moments to treasure.

Today is our last half-day with students. (We've pretty much been in 'crowd control' mode for the last two weeks. )
Then we have mounds of paperwork to finish out before tomorrow afternoon. I have a one week break, and then I teach four weeks of summer school.

Just hang on and keep your mind on the prize at the end - Mickey and friends!
Thanks so much!! Yes Mickey and Friends is definitely what I am thinking of! I so wish the kids were done with school...the are ready, and SO ARE WE!!

Love the concert pictures. Sully had his spring concert last week (viola).

And here's a for less than a month!
Hi Carissa! They are called scutes! I DID use cakesters, I am not a fan, but the boys love them! Yay for Sully!! Don't you love watching them perform!

Animal Kingdom Plans

Hey everyone!! We are at 27 days today!!!! Getting down to the nitty gritty! With the boys and I not being done with school until June 18th that leaves only 1 day between school ending and us leaving for vacation! I am using today to really try to get my trip binder all together and transferring my adr #'s to my phone! Our new corrected Magical Express info came in the mail! Now Eric can come too!! Also, I want to take out my "for disney" box that has a bunch of stuff in it and see what still need to be bought! On a fun note, I made my pedicure appointment for right before we leave!

OK onto the Animal Kingdom!! We have 2 days planned here with not much we are hoping to accomplish Here goes...

The Nemo Show (never been)
FOTLK (love it)
Dinosaur (huge fave of the boys)
I would like to find Devine (never seen her)
ITTBAB (great place to cool off and laugh)
Everest (the boys would ride ALL DAY)
Kali River Rapids (we haven't been since 2002, great in the heat)
the Acrobats in Africa (never seen them either)
Parade (not sure if this will happen, w/ the heat it may be hard to stay in the park that long)

We will be eating at Tusker House for breakfast and Yak and Yeti for lunch and we LOVE them both! Although we felt rushed last year at Tusker House.

Here are some pics. from last year!

Eric's first ride on Everest!

I feel SO sorry for the people that were at WDW last week the pictures and stories of those relentless days of rain are awful! I sure hope we have a drier trip then they all did!!!

Have a GREAT rest of the weekend!!!

I love animal kingdom, I think its one of the most underrated parks, I like it more than DHS! Not sure if you know this, but Devine can be found on the pathway between Kali & Africa. Right near the photopass photographer taking pictures of people in front of the back of the tree. IT seems everytime we walk there she's there, just look for the huge crowds of people going "what the?"

looks great Diane! I'm at 45 days today! Paid my trip off yesterday so look out WDW, here we come!

One suggestion for one of your two days at AK... some of the trip plans I have read recommends comming to AK later in the day. Maybe sleep in one day and go there till it closes, then you can catch the parade. Reports say lots of the attractions open up a bit later in the day since this park gets hit hard in the morning due to people wanting to see the animals. Perhaps to a early morning and then try a late day safari to see the difference? No matter what I'm sure it will be great!

Yay for 27 more days! I understand about the end of the school year being so busy. It's hard to find time to get ready for your trip . As far as AK I would arrive around lunch time one of the days so you can stay for parade. Maybe sleep in that morning. We didn't do much at all at AK since we stayed only until 12:30 so we missed the parade. We didn't see Devine this trip but you have to see her she is really cool. We usually see her between Asia an Africa. Hope you find time this weekend to get your binder organized. Love the Mickelodeons, looks like what they serve the kids at the plaza for dessert. Love the Crocs too. As far the spa at SSR (really wanted to go there myself) I would vote for the massage or a facial, both are so relaxing. Please take pics at La Nouba if your allowed. I wanted to see it so badly but it was closed from May 18th until June something. So it was out of the question.
