Hiya Threadkillers!

DU - I love chocolate pudding! DH absolutely LOVES the industrial pudding that comes out of those big cans....I have to admit - it IS pretty good!

DP - the pics are adorable. Emily with the sippy cup made me do a big "AWwwwww"

I hope everyone is well today. I threw my back out yesterday. It's getting better, but I'm walking stiff and having a hard time getting up & down. It needs to get better before I head to see the sisters and then start cooking for this wedding!

I sounded like Kermit the Frog - someone had to sing for me.

I just called a woman that wants me to sing for her daughter's wedding in October. We have a new woman singing in the choir who has a degree is Musical Theatre and has the most AMAZING voice I've ever heard....truly - you can hear the angels weeping when she sings.

Anyway, I told her that I'm happy to sing her wedding (but I have no experience) however, she owes it to herself to hear this woman. She has twice the range that I do and she's pitch perfect. It's like having Julie Andrews in our choir.

I told her if she wanted to pick her instead, I completely understand, because I would do the same! So, I may not be singing the wedding in October.....which works for me - I'd rather do a wedding cake than be a wedding cantor!

Sorry you didn't get to sing. That would have been a really special experience. But great news to have "Julie ANdrews" in the church choir!

I've been lurking 'round here as usual, I'm just a little wound up to post. There was some trouble at work a few weeks ago, and I wound up in the middle of it. So I'm still a little PO'd, and if I start writing I'm fearful I'd spew venom!

Wow! REALLY quiet here today! I spent a lovely day with DH. We went out to breakfast, went to the range, had lunch, read a book, took a nap and went out to dinner. We're now in our jammies and ready to read and spend a quiet evening!

Whadda day.

Elvis jumped off the stairs, about 5 steps this am (he is sooo stoopid), and dislocated his knee!!!! So I spent most of the am at the vets. Anyhooo his kne is back in place, but lotsa medicine. And no jumping up or down, or running for 6 weeks.
Now how does one get a 9 month old puppy to NOT DO THIS.
Anyhoooooo he seems fine..just walking with a slight limp.

DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Tell us. I'm into listening to others PO work related problems. I BLEWUP at my boss the other day, Went all .." I am the only one who does any #$@%& work in this #@$%^* godforsaken @#$%^ hole...and he dont have the #$%^ to stand up to these other lazy $#@%^ I work with"
Got an extra week vacation to take whenever i want outta it!!!!
Note: I was never one to 'hold back' or 'bite my tongue'

Sooo how did you wind up in the middle? I usually just like to start/instigate...then quietly walkaway!!!!
