So here we are at TWO WEEKS TIL WE'RE BACK AT WDW!!! Today DH and I took a little drive out to the Disney Store. I had read that for Earth Day they were giving away a "suprise" if you took in 3 plastic bottles. We took 3 each and we were each given a cute green Mickey water bottle. A very appropriate color for all us Dis-sers!! We also picked up more of the reusable shopping bags. I got the Earth Day one and a Hannah one that will be cute to send one of the "Big Give" kids. They had 25% off clearance so you know Bargain Betty forced herself to pick up a few clearance things too! I think I have picked up everything we need for our trip, except sun block, and we are all packed. Now we just have to wait for the next 2 weeks to pass

I wanted to get that Water bottle, but I never made it in there after work yesterday. Good for you for getting the green bottle and for finding a sale. Last week I got each of my four nephews a shirt there for about $3.00 each. Then I got myself a tink shirt for $4.50. Gotta love it!

Good deals on the tees! Our store didn't have any adult tees on clearance but I did get Caitlin one of the boys tees for $3 (Last year when we were there people were guessing she was 12!) And thank you! We hope the next 2 weeks go fast too! Actually they should because we'll be really busy! We are doing 2 garage sales to raise $ for our "Relay for Life" team on top of all our usual stuff.

Yeah the classics are the best I think Cars was pretty good but I just wasn't into Bolt & Wall.E as much, they def lack the quality of the classics I know six days is much more exciting but my DBFF is flying out as we speak , so that is much more exiting to me . I guess I look at her trip just as you do mine . LOL Having any kind of Disney trip planned is exciting though

We are at the 12 day mark! Woohoo! We just called and added the DDP so now the entire trip is OFFICIALLY paid off! I hate that the full amount is due at 45 days out so we just wait to closer to the trip to add the DDP and let the money sit in the bank just a wee bit longer. I could have waited til 3 days prior but I want to do the online checkin at 10 days out and I thought it might be too hard to add the DDP after we had checked in. So now everything is paid for and we just have to hope the next 12 days hurry by!

I think that's smart to wait to add the dining plan. That's one thing I like about DVC - you don't have to pay for it until checkin. 12 days - WOW - so close, so close!

For the past two days we had 80+ degree weather here in Michigan! Having blue skies and sunshine has made us even more eager for our trip! Yesterday in preparation for our trip I planned a little suprise outing for Workaholic and myself. (Caitlin had to work) I decided to take him somewhere we could enjoy the lovely day and he could practice using his new camera. Where did we go? We visited one of the gems of the Detroit area. We have a membership to this place we love it so much! We went to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. The village just reopened last weekend for the season so it was our first visit back. DH loved using that camera and with all the pics he took he should now be a pro! It just so happened that it was "Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine Day" so the place was packed with preschoolers. They all looked so cute in their railroad garb! Anyway we had a fun time and enjoyed the sunny day. IF you ever find yourself in the Detroit area it is a must see place! When Caitlin came home we continued with our Disney Film Fest and watched Ratatouille. DH had never seen it so that was his pick. I have to admit all the rats around food kind of freaks me out but it is a sort of cute movie.

That leads us to today! Guess what today is? Yep! 10 days!!!! So first thing this morning I did the online check-in! It is very simple and uneventful to use and doesn't really make me feel any closer to being there BUT it was something new to try. I have a lot to do today so goodbye and see ya real soon!

Hasn't been too busy getting everyone packed , just seems like I've had to run to the store 50 times these last couple of days to get things we need for the trip and I forgot . LOL I'm determined to get everything packed and finished today while the DH is here , as it's back to work for him 2moro . LOL

Thank you! DH took some really nice shots on Saturday so I am really looking forward to seeing the pics he can get in WDW especially at the Flower Festival in Epcot!

Anyways I started reading your report but had to skip to the end cuz 5:45am will be coming way too fast but I cant wait to finish it tomorrow! I think most of the phone calls to the WDW reservation hotline these past few months were from me


We will keep our fingers crossed for you that the weather will stay nice and warm! It is supposed to continue on until Monday so at least we got a couple days
