Thats exciting that you finally got POFQ! I've never stayed so I can't wait to hear about it.

Also, I've never been to Narcossee's so I hope you'll do a review when you come back!! 6 weeks to go!!!! They're gonna fly by!

Great plan to see the fairies first thing! We'll be skipping them - the boys just aren't interested - which I'm happy about - no long line for us. And we'll see our other characters during character meals - my boys aren't big on waiting in lines so we avoid it where we can.

I know I am really excited about POFQ we have stayed at POR 2 times and really enjoyed it but it isn't really that decorated or themed as the other hotels. It feels like New Orleans but I always loved the Mardi Gras theme to French Quarter

I will soo do a review! I had never heard of it before until I mentioned to my mom that I had a huge craving for lobster so expect TONS of food porn on our trip report

I know I can't believe it is only 6 weeks! where did the time go?! With finals coming up I think the next few weeks will fly by fast!

Character meals are always a good idea! I tried over and over again to get Chef Mickey's or Ohana but there was never an opening

Fantastic plans! I'm so glad you're getting some extra pixie dust!

You're going to LOVE POFQ! It's by far our favorite resort; we love that it's so small and quiet. Make sure to eat some beignets in the food court for me! They are amazing little friend dough, powdered sugar goodness!

I am sooo excited

I had some beignets before my surf lesson last april and I absolutely loved them!

We had a hard time booking the POFQ the first couple times we tried and after we started talking about it all I wanted was the beignets and nothing would have made me happy if we hadnt booked it

We've reached a milestone marker today! That's right exactly 1 month from now we will be sitting at Detroit Metro Airport waiting to board our flight to WDW!!!! It is really getting close now and we are soooo ready! This morning we woke up to a thick sloppy slushy mess of a rain/snow mix that is supposed to continue throughout the day maybe leaving 6 inches of snow. On Saturday it was so nice jackets weren't needed and now its back to coats and boots. But that's Michigan weather for you! Let's forget about the weather and get back to thinking about Disney! Our preparations are coming along very well. DH and I are mostly packed (yes I am early but we're in Michigan its not like we'll need shorts in the next month) and I'm working on getting the backpack all set. I have my limegreen Mickey head and my disname attached so hopefully we'll meet some dissers!
This trip should result in some awesome pictures! We joined a photopass group for the first time so I am excited to see what we can do with the cd! Those won't be the only pics though! This weekend we purchased a new camera! DH has been wanting a Nikon and this weekend we found a very nice one on CLEARANCE at Target! The Target price was $300 cheaper than DH could get it for at work with his discount! Well you know Bargain Betty can't pass up a good deal so we now have a new Nikon D80 to take along! I need to play with it though so I can feel comfortable using it on our vacation.
Well thats all for now! I'm off to go do the "30 day dance"

Aww thank you! Aren't writing these fun? This is our first ptr and I think writing about it helps build the excitement! Our trips overlap very briefly as we arrive on May6! I can't wait! Even though we were there in Dec. with the long winter we've had (and are still having ) it seems like forever!

It is so much fun writing these and it helps make the time go by so much faster . You are right just a breif over lap on the 6th of May , that will be my sad day cause I know we will be leaving all the magic the next day I know I can't get enough of WDW , I wish we had been there in December , we only ge to go usually once a year but we may be planning another trip in December of this year , sooo exciting

Mickey Mail!!! We were so excited to get our "package" in the mail! I love the new luggage tags and the little boy with Mickey on the cover is so cute! I'm so glad that the 5x7 is still included because the only time we seem to get family pics done is at WDW so its great to get a nice pic once a year!
