Not interested........ I have already spent a ton of money (AP holder for many years and now my family of 6 have them) and don't feel like spending another $75 to be considered a real fan..... it's kinda insulting actually!

I think they can tell I'm a big enough fan by the amount of money I already spend on their company!!!

I too feel like this isn't really something for their fans, but a new money making gimmick! Makes me feel a bit sick!

I like the magazine but other than that...... oh well now I won't be able to buy an overpriced polo with some embroidery on it.

I'm more than a little disappointed. I would have preferred for it to be an online thing where you paid X dollars and were able to download 23 movies during 23 months. Personally I feel that the things that they are offering "D23" members should already be done for AP holders.

If it was required to be a member to attend the expo, I'd probably sign up. I'm really curious about the event.

Otherwise, the merchandise didn't really do much for me. It's nice, but as I said before, meh.

The magazine seems like it would make a nice collectors item, but I really miss the old Disney magazine. It was fun and had great info.

I agree, ho hum, I can get the magazine at Barns and noble if I want to. I know that I am not going to California, I don't need a little card or certificate. I wish there was more details because if this is it, I don't need it. I am a little bummed. On the other hand a pen for $850.00 is so what I was looking for...

I think it was very stupid of them to put that pen on the first page, they should have put something nice, but reasonable for people to buy. Who is advising these people, they need to get some "regular" disney fans in there to help them!

Okay, so the magazine is available in stores right? (I thought I read somewhere that it was purchased the other day at Barnes & Noble) so then basically you are paying to get an email newsletter and a "special gift" and the ability to purchase special merchandise. I just wanted to be sure I could get the magazine because that is really all that I would be interested in.

I don't see a difference between this and the old Magic Kingdom Club. At least with the MKC, you had some theme park discounts along with the Disney News/Disney Magazine subscription. I think it's a total rip-off.

Other than that, I will probably be going by my local book store to check out the D23 Magazine anyway. I wonder if they will be sold at WalMart.

Someone posted on another thread that Barnes and Nobel is selling the magazine for 15.95....... it is going to be published quarterly.

So i guess for ten more dollars they save you the cost of gas and you get a certificate and a gift.....

That might be true but Disney might get the idea that we are happy with this little package when we know it could have been so much better.
